Ep 2
Just when I thought "guys, aren't you fighting a bit too rough for being in an underground cave?" it gave in... By all rights I should be a jaded, cynical anime viewer when it comes to this show, but for whatever reason I just can't. It has such a soothing effect on me. Felia is cute! (Even though by all rights I should find her annoying.) And how could I not like a show that has a talking, overprotective, stone pet/mascot that waxes poetic from between people's legs and transforms into a mecha. Seriously. And that curry looked so good, it made me hungry. Mmm. (It's a bit distracting though that apparently it's "Felia" and not "Feria", given that it probably comes from Lucifer...) |

Ep 02
Well, the series is not turning out so bad...it looks like it is able to balance the more serious and the more light hearted aspects of the story, though the teeny sidekick animal that transforms into the mecha looking thingee is kind of...odd, somehow for me in terms of the overall effect it produced in the episode itself. The OP really is quite nice on hearing it again, while the ED is not bad either. I will give it one more ep, but atm it looks like a decent keeper, I think?

Yeah, I agree. It's not exactly been all that groundbreaking so far but I haven't found anything offensive especially the things that I thought I would. I like this show. I don't know why but I do.

Funny moments for me...:
Gus: Too slow! Gorilla mech: *does a super fast backflip* ...eh? Gus: Sure, but on one condition. I get to choose my men. My reaction: As for that Pack guy... But hey, Vin Diesel isn't the only one in this. We also have Caterpie from Pokemon aka Moura. It reminded me of Yakitate Japan. lol Quote:
Edit: Edit 2: Before I forget.

In that scene for a moment I did actually wonder if she was going to have trouble eating because of her hair being in the way. |

Good guys' current goal:
1) Turn Felia in to the authorities... I think. 2) Get that stupid mecha out of their home Bad guys' goal: 1) Get teammates... but we don't know what Capt. Gus' mission is. 2) Capture Felia. Their original goal was to get that mineral that turned into Felia. We still don't know why the bad guys want it. I guess Sogo has mark on hand b/c that's the hand he caught the meteor with. Felia is so cute. They didn't need the mascot character Moura. Moura is not that cute anyway, at least compared to Felia. It has a cute voice, though. There's something sexy about a cute little girl blasting away bad guys. Mark my words- it will happen. It's this trope: http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.ph...mallGirlBigGun |

So far this series is still pretty solid. Nothing that makes me even want to think of dropping this.
It is balancing out comedy and plot moments pretty well. The show also seems to be giving us just enough information to theorize what is going on, but still leaving enough to keep us guessing.

Well that was cool. I'm glad we're getting more about this military element that I didn't expect. And we have some crazy kid that's going to be joining Gus' group. I wonder what they want with Felia?
Felia herself is adorable, she's like a baby. But then she was just born. I knew Moura was going to turn out to be the mech and unwittingly Sougo is the one who controls her. She seems to transform when he's in trouble or hurt. I interested in what is the military's intent and if this show will end up just being a game of keep Felia away from military for most of the season.

Enjoyed the second episode a lot. Ep 1 used a lot of pretty trope-ish story elements, but episode 2 really started to take those elements and execute them in a fun manner. The bad-guys side actually seems pretty interesting too. I don't think the enemy 'A-team' is going to end up as the final antagonists, they seem way too 'cooly designed' for that. It's also nice to see a girl NOT get pissed at the protagonist for letting him see her in just a towel.
Also, isn't Felia technically naked, considering her dress is made of her wings? I just hope the story doesn't become super convoluted and we end in a mess, considering there's only 12 episodes. |

As for the rest of the episode, is pretty good. I feel like I should find felia too hyper and backlash from the switch between the light and dark parts but find myself liking all of that quite a lot. Weird, but nice. Do you guys think that this will have more seasons or something if it sells well? The project felia part give me those vibes for some reason. |

Sooo, was the old man just sitting there in the dark all that time waiting for them?
Still don't know how to feel about this anime, so far it's been pretty "meh" (at least in my opinion), as someone that despises moeblobs I have no attachment to Felia (if you've seen one you've seen them all), i'll keep watching but now it's more of a race until I start to get annoyed by this and oossibly decide to drop it so I won't be posting too much about this series.

I like where this is going, Felia will continue to absorb experiences and information at fast pace until she "grows up" to an age that matches her current appearance and Sogo will end up mesmerized by her. Lolicon indeed but can't be helped, she is such a cutie.
Also not exactly new because the OP spoiled it but the identity of the mysterious bipedal armor is none other than that small green creature seen in all the promo arts. Tasked with protecting Felia I assume though Sogo is the one that can trigger its transformation. |

Sadly from what I've seen the sales preorders on /a/, it had really low preorders (only other show that compete in that role was Lance N' Masques, I'll expect it to somehow get better as it goes on but not really on a large margin though.
