Kind of a bit torn on that one.

I wonder if the manga will make a reference to Saber and FSN (like a silent "Look Takamiya, even in a manga they do it" *waku* *waku* tender but firm hand pushing Takamiya to the groung ...) since

Same thing happened with Non Non Byori and Kiniro Mosaic to name a few and I will even dare to say that they did this anime expecting it to crash and burn (like Sekai de Ichiban Tsuyoku Naritai!), there is a complete lack of faith in anything that does not have tons of fanservice, lolis, incest or some other overused elements. I would not be surprised that they accepted to do this so they could fire some people when it went bust.

i agree with you 100% the entertaiment japanese market become so to "adict" to crapy otaku fetiches, who ending understime who still possible to do awesome works like: log horizon, witchcract works, chunibyou or mikakuning or others with low or without that crap and their still being awesome, but for the sake of "disgusting" their sill prefer follow the "crap" route, this is something who aways bug me in anime/manga/ln, their can really do good works without it but their still prefer "do it" because is "more safe", this is really sad, but is good the fact who we still have some "normal peoples" among japanese entertaiment who like to do "good things" and make that good things really good even in japaneses eyes to do a "slap in the face of the creep adicters, to proof who you can do good jobs with "normal" or less overused thing.

wow a really hugh amount of info lol, the "weekend" witch being a "liar" cheater was something funny, she basically a weakling who enough knowledge to cheat and pass as a strong witch, using even "mudan human weapons as granades, daggers, or guns to fake being a strong witch and know how to proper using then agains witchs magic defenses.

In a way, Weekend uses the 'Batman' approach to things: planning, preparation and knowing your enemy.

"What's this, my enemy has superhuman strength and invunerability? Ok. Use knockout gas."

Weekend was keenly aware that there was no way she could challenge Kazane head on, but she knew what Kazane's main disadvantage is and exploited it. She knew that witches depended on their magic too much (probably why Kazane trained Ayaka to fight without it), so she used more conventional, non-magic means to against the Workshop witches who were unprepared for it. This left Weekend to use her magic for defense and continuously heal herself. It's misdirection and good tactics at the same time.

Weekend is simply an example of one who mainly uses deviousness instead of strength, and hard work instead of talent.

It could be said that she used the Kiritsugu Emiya approach. If weekend is Batman and Kagari is Superman, does this mean next week will be The Dark Knight Returns (issue 4)?

That was in reference to how Weekend captured Kazane. In this case, the 'knockout gas' was indeed a whole bunch of bombs.
