Episode 1:
Hmm, the OP song is kinda catchy I guess? Felt like a really mediocre start with the introduction of the characters. Niwaka also has somewhat of an annoying voice and comedy felt so-so at the moment. Setting takes place at Akihabara and the MC already likes what it has to offer with the merchandise. Mayoka is slightly fun to watch though with that badass attitude of hers. Arisa is kinda cute I guess. Mayoka's presence in the show caught my attention the most so far out of all the characters. The fan service was present of course too

I think it's a funny adaptation that basically capture the essence of the games pretty well (though doesn't follow any, it's doing its own thing). It's a medium budget affair, and I think for now it's worth for entertainment.
I also found amusing that Acquire is not in the production committee, which is also way larger than usual. |

Episode 01
This was pretty amusing. I like Tamotsu. He's a fun guy. Lol how he had that persistent woman to stop trying to get him to buy some painting. Niwaka was kinda cute I guess. Arisa had an annoying voice. I don't really find this foreigner speaking Japanese thing appealing in any way. The animation was kinda cool at times. There were some good looking fights from time to time plus a few good looking explosions. Lol "Mayo" isn't exactly the best nickname. Pretty amusing stuff. Some nice animation too. The character designs tend to look kinda weird at times for the side characters especially and occasionally the main cast, but I don't really mind it. Kinda like the same effect Konosuba's visuals have. I'll stick around with this. Mayo being a "traitor" intrigues me a bit too. |

I really liked it and I was laughing or chuckling for the entire show. I watched the dub on Funimation and thought Alejandro Saab and Natalie Hoover were fantastic. I'm not expecting 5 stars but I'm planning to stick around. Especially since the main character reminds me so much of an IRL friend.
I do agree on the OP, though. The only things going through my mind while watching it were "I know it's the first episode but who are all these faces flashing by" and "why do Japanese people always run with the arms sticking straight out behind them". |

Kinda surprising Gonzo didn't spoil the parts with best animation in the PVs. Anyway nice start, all the characters seem likable from the get-go and looks like things will get quite hectic with the fighting/strip combat trademark of the series. Also found interesting that the enemies (bagurimono) are not exactly vampiric like in the games.
OP is ok, starts meh but gets better fast and has really nice visuals. Didn't like the ED but it will change frequently afaik so no problem. |

"Onii-chan"... oh, that's girl gotta be the younger childhood friend. Then I hear 'imouto' and I deflated; they're actually real brother and sister.
Overall, for a Gonzo production it's actually pretty decent. A bit fanservicy that's true, but then again that's the entire premise of Akiba Strip franchise, isn't it?
