For the personality thing, this game's Marietta is quite similar to Yggdra Union's, with the whole loyalty towards the Gods, but yes, it is different from Riviera's, who blames the gods. But don't forget that Riviera take place many years into the future, and personalities can change in time...
I don't recall reading that the Accursed were sealed during the time of the Ragnarok. They were sealed and were coming back, that's all. Which means that the Accursed could have been sealed at any time before Riviera (of course, still a lot of time)...

To enter stage 23.5, you have to break the floor on the lower right hand corner on stage 23, twice, and a stair would appear. The floor is an invisible target BTW.

Finding it on red route gives you the true end, finding it on blue route gives you the bad end.

I found the tile, separated from the rest, and destroyed it once, and got an item. But when I broke it again (using a Warrior, because it wouldn't break no matter how much I attacked it with a Knight), it just shattered and turned into those flying orbs...
There were no stairs or anything...
The tile, after being broken once, had a title, but after being broken another time, it just turned into a normal tile.

Am I doing something wrong?
Whenever I go to the next level, it goes from 23 to 24, no 23.5...
Or will it break a second time with attacks from something else other than a Warrior?

Pamela requires Yggdra Union's cartridge, and randomly appears in later stages.

As for the floor. Every objects in this game can only be broken by Warrior. Other classes can hit up to 100% damage to an object (aka fragile stage), but they can't break them (as in, turn them into orbs). The panel you have to hit on stage 23 is an empty panel, the very panel on the right bottom corner, it has nothing on it.
At start, it is just a floor with soem grass on it, you break it once, the grass well disappear. You break it again, the floor would disappear and shows you the stair.

And on the Marrieta thing....

Riviera is in distant future yes, but the thing is, Marrieta's dark heart are splitted away from her through Melissa. Assuming Melissa is completly destroyed, Marrieta wouldn't be capable of evil after ward, as only the loyalty to gods remained in her.
On the accursed, called Infernos in Japanese version were said to be the many sides of the evil gods (Infernos are reffered as "魔神の分身" by Hector in the Japanese version) who were defeated back in the Ragnarok. So this is why I raise the question that Arch Angel should be sealed wayyy back then. Even if the Accursed are not sealed, the Arch Angels should be in contract with the evil gods way back then. But this is apparently the first time that Marrieta have deals with anyone in the underworld, which really creates discrepency.
This is also where I wonder is C/D ending really is Yggdra union's cannon ending. As Riviera clearly depicts that the evil gods from the underworld are the culprit of Ragnarok, but the C/D end depict that Yggdra as the culprit. Plus, Grim Angel already existed by the time of Yggdra Union, proven by Grim Angel Aeries, which means Advent of Grim Angels should have already occurred, putting up more question on whether the Ragnarok mentioned in Yggdra Union is really the Ragnarok mentioned in Riviera.

Bah... I am starting confuse my self with all the complications now.... I'll just hope the design material publishing on November would provide us some insight.

After posting, I went back and tried various things, and came up with that answer...
Anyways, beat that monster of a boss and got the scepter... Completely missed that powerful archer though.

Scepter-equipped Maria=Awesomeness
Her full body illustration changes, her basic attacks are all super effective(?) it seems, and using certain (holy?) weapons, she deals a full field attack that reminds me of Disaresta and the other Diviner (JAP is Divine) attacks...

But it gives a bad end on the Blue route...? Dang, wanted to see Meria with the scepter...
Oh well, don't care much about that side anyways.

Maria's full screen attack isn't from Ancaljia, but you have to use a key item called Black Feather on her. Then all the Hi Skill on L phase would become EXtra Skill that hits full screen, but it costs 3 Vit. Meria can do the same if you use the key item White Feather on her, and Meria would no equip the staff unlike Maria, and does... something else to it. BTW, Maria's art changes again in final battle if you have Ancaljia.
As for Pamela, her sprite looks like an average priestess, just darker.

Oh, and I got Blue Route's good end, it is identical to Red Route's good end.
And... still no explanation on who the Master is.

Thanks for the info. I'm playing the game for the third time in a roll, so I didn't feel like going through the Blue Route again right now. If it's similar, then I'll just clear up my current Red one and take a break from the game (fufu, got all of the Knights I really wanted)...
It was a good game, but too be honest, compared to the previous two, it was a bit disappointing.
At least put in an Extra section...

They need to think more then, I feel. It doesn't make sense for Ein to be a skeleton while Hector is still alive and plotting.

I still wish I could've gotten hold of the special art pieces with the DHE pack of some of the KitN girls. They look delicious from the samples on the official site. Speaking of whcih for those interested, they're releasing a Knights in the Nightmare Depth Heaven series artbook on the 27th of November its supposedly also going to clear up story elements from the timeline too. The ISBN appears to be 4797348798.

Anyway for those interested have a Meria artwork.

Thanks for the info, I was worried it wouldn't be a purely artbook I mean last I checked its listed at 160 pages long at A4 size, thats one big book.
