okay so i missed a few. Still its pretty clear that the magic affected those originally who had enjoyed the pleasures of the flesh. If Zeref is pain then this guy is pleasure.

Crunchyroll used the term "forbidden pleasure", but I don't think that exclusively relates to "pleasure of the flesh". Seeing Warren, an established lolicon, as one of the few unaffected seems to make a dent in this (unless he never stooped so low as to actually get turned on by little girls).

Remember, Larcade has been explicitly stated to be the only one among the 12 who can pose a true threat to Acnologia, one who has relished in the slaughter of countless lives. I think that makes a strong case for the "pleasure of killing" being another kind of "forbidden pleasure" that would make him vulnerable.

Rogue was affected, but only after making contact with Minerva. Then there's Lisanna, Frosch, and Lector, who originally weren't affected until Rahkeid focused a different application of his magic on them.

well yeah, but unless you are a maniac like Acnologia, the "forbidden pleasure" should only imply one thing for ordinary folks, and that is of course pleasure of the flesh

So Larcade is in fact Zeref and Mavis' son. Hopefully Mashima won't explain too detail on how that happened. I wonder if that's why Mavis seem to be affected more than others because she's the mother. As for Zeref not loving his son, at least if we consider the Ankhseram's contradictory curse, it may be otherwise in this situation.

Meanwhile, side characters continue to get trash for the sake of FT getting the spotlight, eventually we'll see Jet and Droy assist in beating August while Jellal and the others fail to even help out one bit.
