Very good episode. I tought that if Light knew that Ray had a fiancé he would feel kind of bad for kiling him. Well, I was wrong. =/

When Ray wrote down the names of the other FBI agents on the death note paper, when instructed by Light, why didn't they all die 40 seconds afterwards? Did I miss something?

Remember what Light had said about how you can put the cause of death before you write the victim's name? He had already filled out the sheet of paper with causes of deaths, then stuck another sheet on top of it, leaving blank boxes for Ray to fill out.

i finally got a chance to watch ep 6 I was not surprised by the apprence of L. IT made sense to me his personality and how eccentric he is he could not be a normal looking person. However he display the intellgience that makes him L. I notice some discrpcies i thought L told the police to come in 2 groups and to arrive a certain amout of time apart from one another. can some clarify for me?

Penbars fiancee was very intresting but not in a good way. I am very surprised that she devluged some information to someone she doesnt even know about about the Kira case i dont care if he is the police chiefs son. But Light did learn that was a hole in his plan that could be exploited and she did. From the preview it looks like hes going to get rid of her. However i am convinced that she did not give her real name. She still has that FBI training and after learning that Penbar was forced to show his badge to someone on the bus i dont think she would make that kind of mistake. Also assuming that she did give the wrong name it wouldnt be so easy for Light to find out her name. Being a former FBI agent he files are locked from the general public and how many people could have known that Penbar was engadged and what her name is.

Light also couldnt make up an excuse to get her name then kill her it would point the finger to close to him. Over all a very good episode im usually a big spoiler reader but i refuse to read any for deathnote i want to take it all in as it comes.

Im intrested to see the reaction Light has to the plan the L and the 5 police officers came up with something like 1 000 special agents have entered the country to search for Kira because of the deaths of the 12 FBI agents. This may be a good way to declare Kira an enemy of the world

I just saw the very first pages of the manga (about 10-15 pages). I couldn't believe Raito was such a smiling character
Heck, he has to be a dark, cold, etc character, otherwise...


Anyway, first impression on L : I don't like dirty people, especially the ones with dandruff in hair. And hell, I just sit like him on my chair...

Except that, I don't see any difference between L and Raito personality : the first one is a closet sociopath, the second one melts artificially with people, for the sake of learning from them and then considering he's the best trash...

Light's VA also could be better, but, since he is doing very well till now, it's okay.

I did not like this episode very much, mostly because kira behaved in a totally contrived way. Cant' name very many details, but most importantly the meeting between him and the girl in the police station was so fake...

Here's what I have to say to that: If blue was good, and red was evil, and it was all color themed and what not, wouldn't Light have a different name? Even if this was just an anime addition meant to add something while not considering it's potential to inflict some damage in terms of perception upon the series, different colors would have probably been chosen. I mean, red and blue? Red can be portrayed as the color of love, while blue can be portrayed as icy and cold. If they really wanted to use color changes to signify this, and Light was meant to be portrayed as evil, I think they'd make his opponents white and him black. Or something to that effect. End point for me, even if the red does give him a creepy look, blue can give a creepy, emotionless look that can chill just as much.

As for the way L holds stuff, I've thought of somethin' on that. He seems to hold things in such a way that would reduce the number of fingerprints he leaves behind. It seems entirely in character to me for L to be constantly making sure no traces of his identity are left anywhere under his control.
