Really enjoyed this episode. It's been awhile since there was any spotlight on Komano. His notes are amazing, but I was glad Nishida was upset that he wasn't playing. I understand the whole tired aspect but overall he isn't just the note taker for the team, so yay he is playing in the semi-finals.

It's been really hard to not spoil myself to see if they win the championship. I want them to win so badly....gah!

But for this next match it would be interesting to see Chihaya lose a match but it doesn't matter because everyone else won.

Why did it end!, well next week will finally be tense. Chihaya against the west's representative should be great. Nice that she showed restraint on playing her. Sudo holding the banner and Empress'es jacket of love were great. So Nishida did want Komano to play, nice call by Chihaya of letting him rest up for this big match. Though after the match was a little too much, and that falling desk killed me. He really is good at gathering data if he could get that much info from Sumire's notes. Tsukuba actually stood up and used Komano's advice, though he probably still lost. Kana should pout more often.

I don't know how much Tsutomu observed, and how much he got from interviews with other teams.

The one for the Shoyo team (this week's match) was purely interviewed I believe, because he couldn't watch that match.

Seriosuly though, Nikkuman-kun saying he doesn't want Tsukue-kun to be a starter, but he really wants him to be one deep inside? Didn't know he was such a tsundere lol.

It's not deep down. He just wanted Tsutomu to fight for it, because he considers that kind of fighting spirit important.

In other words, he was just trolling. (Though for better reasons than usual trolls.)

I assume Arata has a traveling bag with him (although come to think of it I don't remember seeing him with that).

On another note I wonder if this season will end at the HS tournament or shortly there after. Last season the team tournament ended pretty quickly but this season we spent quite a bit of episodes on it (which I am happy about since I love the team matches).

But after the team match we also still have the individual matches and I assume they will spend a few episodes on that as well.

It might seem like we have a lot of episodes left but we are already almost halfway done.

I guess I can see them having time for one more storyline after they leave Omi Jingu.

I, for one, would be very disappointed if we don't see Chihaya play Shinobu again at Nationals. Given how much more the series has focused on the Queen this season, I would think the writers have to be building for another match between them at the end.

Chiming in a week late, as usual, but... I LOVED seeing the team made up of Quiz Bowl players!

I was a Quiz Bowl player in both high school and college, and this show always reminds me of my old college team.
