Not so sure about that. This is a different "century". Small MS where a thing of late UC, and this is way past that.

Syd Mead was mecha designer of Turn A. Akiman did chara design and is now doing mecha design

So, people on /m/ are sayin those weird blue orbs are MS hangers, that you can see MS in them. It I don't see anything that looks like a MS with those things.

A pilot cadet, eh? Well, I guess that's a step up from the usual UC main character pilots (in terms of origin).

Since this still takes place in the same reality as UC, I wonder if newtype will still be a factor. (I do hope that technology doesn't reset, or maybe it's too late since G-Saviour already implied that it did.)

I think it's safe to assume that Tomino will ignore G-Saviour since he made it clear that he hated that thing.

the main Gundam with its V-fin in reverse formation makes it look like an Oni
or some is it the SEED variants such as the Testament Gundams did that first? or is there any media that has that type of Gundam design long before that?

The mech feels like combination of Exia and V2. The V-Fin is not a v-fin anymore. More like horns now

EDIT: Looking at the preview, more like Rasiel Gundam from 00 side-stories.

Gotta admit, didn't have much hype for this project initially, but at least it does look fresh. The animation quality though doesn't impress me much, resembles an early 2000's pre-HD anime. Still, will see as more info is released on it

Yes. Tomino always get that title in his shows. He typically does more than a director does, and gets heavily involved with plotting, story boarding, music writing, etc. so maybe that's why.
