I have been looking around Japanese threads hoping to find a novel with the MC being transmigrated into an Eroge best friend character, and now I've finally found this one. However, if the previous MC of the Eroge is not a scumbag and still good to the new Present MC, I still hope he at least gets one girl.

It would even be better if there's a good antagonist thrown in for a gripping plot too.

Ludy is cute, Senpai is cool, and Nanami is fun.
MC (Takioto, not Takeoto btw) is pretty nice. I like hard working MCs, and he throws some nice tsukkomi.

Binged it and it was better than I thought it'd be. Having goals, working to achieve them without getting side tracked too hard, and passage of time are always nice elements you'd think would be present in every story but actually rarely are.

That said I'm not sure if I'm supposed to consider 300k characters over 14 months to be good update pacing. It's nothing outstanding, at least.
Slow updating series are particularly annoying because of the Narou notification limit. You could easily follow 400 slow updating series and have not one update for a period of time.

I don't understand the authors who update a small chapter like once every 6 months or even a year (there's surprisingly a lot of them), though. There's bad pacing and then there's that.

+1 for widow route.
Come to think of it, did we ever get her or her daughter's hair colors? I feel it was just skipped.
MC too for that matter.

This was pretty good so far. I almost never find the manzai actually funny in these stories, but the character interaction in this tickled me. I also like the RTA dungeon stuff, reminds me of some other novel that might've died

Are the girls strong or do they need saving by the MC all the time ? ( I watched the Rokudenashi Majutsu Koushi anime before and oh do I hate series that overuse the "Damsel in Distress" trope )

IMHO, Heroines should be strong to fight side by side with MC and help him beat the lower-classed enemies while MC beats the main baddie, and not like the ones in Akashic Records always needs saving.

Yeah, it's a shame the updating pace is like that. I generally only look at the latest chapters and saw it was regularly updated when I read, but in fact it's not when looking at the whole.

As for the heroines, in term of pure power and mana, the MC is stronger, but overall the girls (particularly Senpai, who is supposed to become one of the three strongest character of the game) are strong too. Also, because the MC can only use enchant and enhance magic, he can't beat monsters who need magical attacks to be deal with, so the MC himself says that the girls need to be with him for after the 40th floor.

Been a while since I started reading a new one & this seems like an interesting candidate, so try I did.

So far, it really is an entertaining read, Nanami is truly a fine meido. The Eroge world really does have a lot of logic & common sense defying conveniences huh.
