In regards to Akeno, I think it is not necessarily related to a Shin Volume, but maybe more about short stories. Back in February/March, they had that broadcasting thing where they talked about Shin 4 and ideas for SS from the fans. After that, Ishibumi tweeted that he was interested in writing a story about an idea from a fan, concerning " Akeno's bringing Issei to her mother's grave".

Today, he said he was going to write that story somewhere this year, along Shin and SlashDog.

The future members of Issei’s peerage, would they all be characters already introduced, or does anyone think they’ll include new characters in future volumes?

Ishi stated it would be a mix of new and old characters. Bennia fills the older character role but there could be more. He never specified. Sefaira seems the perfect candidate for the mutated rook. It is more a question of how the pawns will be handled.

He has only 1 new character and 5 old. Bennia should be the last old character. His 2nd Rook, and Pawns need to be all new girls.

I think that Ravel will be eclipsed in her volume too. Poor girl.

Yes. Bennia should be the last old character and Sefaira appeared in one Good Moment to be the Rook or the 8 pawns.

To be fair, Ravel has kinda outshined everyone recently. She is the one who works closest with Issei after all. Not that I mind, she is my favorite harem member.

ravel, akeno, xenovia, rias, asia and rossweisse fight for the top spot of the harem girls with the longest screen time ... the others have occasional entries or support an idea that some of these girls said.

Ravel should be second now in the rankings of the hierarchy of Issei's harem as she is one of the characters with the most interaction to Issei and Rias should be in the lead but that's just my opinion though.
