And supposedly Karin had too. See?
How are you supposed to develop a character if you kill it off? . And by the fail logic that Tarot death = literal dead then the world would be doomed by the Tower(the most ominous card according to Tarot experts)and the Devil. Last edited by Pablete; 2014-10-30 at 17:01. |

I know some of them don't count. But I'm sure you too can tell next episode will be quite a struggle and likely 'emotional' |

Had what, a Death card? Yeah, but that scene had a comedy tone. The scene at the end of this episode was different. The card comes out while Itsuki is thinking about her dreams for the future and all that. At this point she has already gone trough her character development moment, she has changed already. That's why it's really ominous for the card to come out there. It doesn't even have to mean death. Even if it means change, it's still pretty ominous, especially considering all the death flags Fuu had been tripping.

@glyph
Takahiro Sakai did the original concept(Washio Sumi) however the work of the composition is on Makoto Uezu's hands, adding that Gokumi so far never did any grim dark series it would be weird for them to pull that off(it could be their first time however), and the most important thing to me is the airing time of the series. Of course I won't deny the emotional potential but I do it with the grim darkness. @kazu-kun However last week most of the posts were calling it on her. At most what I see is that she needs to get out of her bubble and take things a bit more serious, so far among the 5 girls(BTW the website added Karin in the main visual), she is the one who is being left behind. Oh, I got some laughs on the internet saying she is AgK's green Kirito/Ruboc's expy . |

Anyway, putting the cards aside, there were lots of death flags this episode. That's all I'm saying.

Well, to start off, I'm noticing that Karin has not joined the girls in the OP. That probably doesn't bode well.
On the other hand, the episode is giving all sorts of impressions of DOOM for Fuu. I count six points of light in the distance. That's all of the Vertex except one. And these things know what the girls can do now: episode 2 was enough proof to me that they can quickly adapt future attempts based on past defeats. This is an all-out attack, and don't expect them to let any of the girls play things their way.

Decent character story in 04.
Wonder if they're being sneaky by showcasing this as a big flashy magical girl battle series when they blew all their budget on the first 2 episodes, and part of 3, and the rest is just going to be slice of life stuff and a punch or two at the end.

I don't think that there's anything to discuss about which turn will this show take after this preview. Also Quote:

Some parts are rather unpleasant.
Thinking why do these females have to fight them at early age. The situation itself is grave. And these two pasts, it is no different from fighting those species. Leader? Worst outcome? I guess all that matter is what each person wants. Whether the objective is same or different. Lastly there is no males to support them. What is there to even expect?
