Well a First place in the secondary grouping can sometimes beat out a midrange primary grouping character. It all depends on just why that First Place holder got into the secondary grouping instead of winning a primary slot (was she in a extremely top heavy group?)

Predictions: 3-0 (3-0) Mahomaho came close. Some may only have seen her as a possible sniper for Saki, but to me, she's one of my top10. Call me oniichan more, Mahomaho! (A jealous Myaa is fine too) Picks: Ilya, Kobato, Saki Predictions: Ilya, Kobato, Yuno The interesting match here is A10. I'm not sold on Yuno being moe and being able to gather the votes required to proceed in the main rounds. Then again, veteran yandere (dependent on your definition of yandere) Rena would have something to say about that. An-chan supports Kobato! (So does Meat)

Saki had more trouble than I expected but a win is a win. Really bad luck for Maho to draw such a tough Round 1 opponent. Maho could easily win many of the other Round 1 groups. Mahiru wins as expected and so did Cure Beauty.
I don't expect Illyasviel and Kobato to have any problems winning and based on the interm results they are doing just fine. Kiyomi is a bit closer than I would have expected but still fairly safely behind. I thought Yuno would win the third match. Yuno isn't too strong but her opponents seemed to be fairly weak. Interm suggest that this was a mistake and Mizukoshi Saki is about to beat Yuno. Still quite a bit of the match to go so I'm hoping Yuno still wins. Oh well... tomorrow battle look like not tough like today and yesterday... at least i want see some fight in Rika and Maria to fight Tacos and Nako...

Saki herself led a nice opening for her series. Though, if she had so much trouble just with Maho, I'm not sure if she'll be able to beat Kobato.
Tacos and Koromo shouldn't have any problem at all, at least until the real matches with Tomoka. |
