I'll give it another episode to see if it develops the competitive side, but it's a bit bland so far. Repeated mention of the Olympics suggests a bit of bandwagon-jumping here.

Really, do you want someone as vacuous as the lead to have a gun?

Also... Am I the only one who thought two of the main characters are basically 'knockoff Asuka' and 'ahoge Rei'?

This is certainly turning out to be a slow, relaxed series. It'll be good for watching to kick back, but it will be tough to write for, as well.

enjoyed this episode more than the first one.

Hikari so kawaii... too bad she missed the last shot. She could have caught up if she scored a 10 with that.

Hmm, so their best shooter has allergies?

looking forward to next week.

they're actually pretty good. Their highest scorer Yukio has higher score than the best shooter of the opposing team. And their worst shooter Hikari has a higher score than the poorest shooters of the other team. Of course, there's still room for improvements.

looking forward to next week.

The teacher is a fine addition. With this barrier resolved, I look forwards to seeing the RSC gear up for the qualifiers.

Haha, sensei thought she would be shot when Yukio is taking out the gun from the bag. Well, Hikari got the adviser with fluffy hair that she wants. However, they ended up housecleaning for sensei who is also an otaku.

We also get a short glimpse of another team.

Looking forward to next week.

I can feel the tension during Hikari last shots. Nice that she was able to make it.

Glad that Yukio talked back to that girl with the facemask from the other school.

Shouldn't it be really bad form to talk to a competitor at that point? It looks pretty unsportsmanlike.

noticed that too.. well, Hikari still handled the situation pretty well.

on another thing. Fluffy hair sensei is still best girl for me. She even rented a car, so they have proper transportation to the tournament area.

amazing. Glad Hikari was able to make it to nationals. That had me worried. Good thing two of the high scorers would go for AIR so more slots would be open for the others.

also somehow glad Konno was able to make it. Barely know her, but must be a lot of pressure since it's her final year. And she seems like a nice person too.

poor Karen-chan in last place. ><

looking forward to next week!

Sorry; dynamic content not loaded. Reload?

Surely, you and I can't be the only two people left who are still watching this series?

There are more people watching this on MAL. 20 people on episode 6 thread.
With mostly positive comments. https://myanimelist.net/forum/?topicid=1811466

/Hikari taking a nap is kawaii :3

Anyway, there are some other anime threads that are dead or almost dead here in Animesuki.. but are very much alive on MAL.

Yeah, I'm still watching the show and enjoying it, last week's "Sensei took the harem route" had me laughing long after the credits rolled.

I guess it suffers some because from all the 'school girls do sport/pastime' shows it's got the most 'dry' technical sport at its core, and that probably put a lot of people off who didn't stick around for the character comedy.

There's a recap episode this week. I think regular programming resumes next week.
