Final recording completed. With ending of Index II, it feels quite lonesome when you think of it. However, panda leader (Note: I have no idea who or what this is supposed to be) and Satorina Iwaku (I think...name is unfamiliar to me) resembles a large movie volume at the final stage. With SS's rush for release, yesterday was a total all-nighter mode; with this we may see our hopes. At later public recording, Kamijyo san's part may include Abe san (Again dunno who this is) Misaka Imouto's part with Sasaki Nozomi san (Imouto's seiyu), Last Order's part with Hidaka san (LO's seiyu) will have guest appearances. Gathering Railgun radio's main 4 people was chaotic. As expected, how did it become 5....

Heres an idea of what might happen for the SS adaptation. Im thinking that they are probably going to put a different version of aqcuas and terras conversation and make it face to face instead of over phone for the epilogue. That would make a good ending.

Oh they can find a way, shouldn't be a problem to have Fiamma standing around the Pope whispering half-truths.

Interestingly, this would give it the opening to present the third and unlikely protagonist...

This would probably need to be checked out thoroughly first, but apparently in an interview with male seiyuu Abe Atsushi and Okamoto Nobuhiko, they hinted that a 3rd season of Index is on the agenda.

Wait... someone actually thought that J.C.Stuff would not milk this cash cow :/
The question is not if Index S3 will be animated, but WHEN? Or more exactly: before or after Railgun S2 (if it stays true to its tradition, next To Aru title will probably air this Fall)?

I mean, if the last book isn't even out yet, it would be abit too soon to start the anime right? Should give it another year or something.

They don't have to wait till the last book to be out - Note SNS 3 will also have around 26 episodes, with last book covering some 6-8 episodes maybe, which mean they will already have aired 20 episodes = 4-5 extra months.
About index 3 - the best solution will be to continue airing, i mean spring-summer(24-26 ep) does not have any big shows and Jc staff simulcats 3-4 shows each season. (there is only some aria this spring as far as i know) About Railgun II - it barely has material for one season (13ep) and seriously, if there exists a director, that can turn the Misaka-ONLY psycho story with index crossover, into a 4 protagonist slice of life story, without any crossovers, then i will call him a god. |

Plus you really wouldn't want them to burn through their GOOD stuff too fast. Quote:
In this case, either they do the Sister's Arc first, and the rest becomes original, or they do the original stuff first, then the Sister's Arc in the finale.
