Episode 154:
The interrogation and autopsy on the captured Rain Ninja and Pain's dead body begins, as Naruto helps Shikamaru and Shiho on decoding Jiraiya's message. They are able to figure out that each number, following the "Ta" katakana, references a character in Jiraiya's Make-Out Tactics book, which Kakashi is forced to read out loud. They inform Tsunade and Fukasaku of the message, which reads "The Real One Is Not There", and Fukasaku offers to take Naruto back to Mt. Myoboku for training in Sage Jutsu, which Naruto accepts.

Episode 155:
Naruto continues his training to gather in Natural Energy to learn Sage Jutsu, however, the risk in doing so is that, if too much Natural Energy enters the body, the recipient might turn into a frog. Fukasaku helps Naruto prevent this, and later gives Naruto the first book that Jiraiya wrote, which makes Naruto remember Jiraiya bequeathing his mission for world peace to him. Meanwhile, the Akatsuki learn that the Killer Bee Sasuke brought back was only a clone as the Six Paths of Pain and Konan head out to Konoha.
