I noticed the gloves/wristlets/bracers/whatever, but didn't think about them being similar/the same as Byakuya's. Interesting. Maybe since she became a Vice-Captain for Squad 13, he gave her a set as a sign of recognition or something.

Bankai's not a requirement for Vice Captain, only Captain (other than Zaraki).

I'm digging Rukia's new 'do. Her whole look is pretty hot IMO. Then again, androgyny is big in Japan right now so I can see where Kubo was going with it. He did good work, IMO. Good to see her back!

I'm digging Rukia's trial for committing a number #1 felony in the world of SS Well, that was a good chapter, the mood finally lightens up a bit, with the exception of Ichigo's QQing. Now I just want Ichigo to go bankai on them and let Ginjou&co be all "wtfbbq!".

More like all he had to do was go up to his dad and say, "Hey, you and Urahara are the only Shinigami I can still see. Either of you know a way to regain my Shinigami powers?" Since it isn't Rukia's own sword that she stabs him with, it isn't nearly that simple.

LOL it's too obvious who it was and I knew it yet I still thought "WTF is Hanataro doing here?!"

I'm not quite sure what to make of her new do, with her slightly boyish looks already it's not great per say yet I do think it's a whole better than before, alot better.

Still would prefer to see her with long hair

Gotta admit not liking alot of the chapters this arc, they don't really move along well and just have their moments(cliffhangers mostly) which rarely carry onto the next chapter.
Yes the ending for this chapter was great but all the fluff before it was going no where.
Can only hope we see some real action next chapter and not just aload of surprised expressions.

I'm loving Rukia and Ichigo's new look. Zangetsu's new design is great too, it feels more "complete" compared to its previous form. Wonder what his bankai will look like, or if he'll even be able to go bankai right away. I wouldn't put it past Kubo to start another bankai training arc right after this one.

I feel almost sorry for Ginjou and Tsukishima. You know they are about to get brutally raped. I'm really looking forward to the next chapter.
