The trailer marked March 23, 2012 for a Blu-Ray BOX.
EDIT: While searching the image, I got this from GG Blog http://gundamguy.blogspot.com/2011/1...ray-box-1.html They have the same video playing in that link PzIVf3 provided. Last edited by kakakka; 2011-11-11 at 10:06. |

Can't really find a suitable thread to post this, so um I guess I'll just leave it here?
--------- Gundam Seed HD Remaster Slated for December The official website for the previously announced Mobile Suit Gundam Seed HD Remaster project revealed on Friday that the remastered anime will stream on the Bandai Channel website in Japan on December 23. It will then start running on the BS11 satellite channel on January 1 at 7:30 p.m., before airing on the Tokyo MX station on January 3 at 10:29 p.m. Finally, the three Blu-ray Boxes will ship next year on March 23, June 22, and September 21, respectively. The limited edition of the first box will cost 21,000 yen (about US$269) and will contain about 288 minutes (plus 2 minutes of bonus extras) in 1080 progressive resolution. Bonuses will include an exclusive booklet, the creditless opening and ending animation footage, audio commentary for one episode per disc, and an exclusive box. Source: http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news...d-for-december ----------- I never thought it would actually air, thought it was just going to be released on Blu-ray or something... |

Hmm, I was hoping for a more different remix of Anna ni Issho Datta no ni, though I'm OK with it; I like the pronounced strings. It just resembles the original, while I was hoping for something more distinct and fresh...

There's a prototype of Freedom? Wow, I didn't know since I didn't follow much the side-story manga stuff & mecha design/concept. Did this appear in some media (manga, magazine, etc)? It looks a lot like Strike IWSP though.

After that "Seed/Seed Destiny reused/recycle animation" video from YouTube (since taken down), it seems that most of Seed/GSD's budget went to the music (esp. the use of licensed music throughout both shows), the special guests (TMRevolution, Aisha's VA, etc.) and some high-profile VAs (they brought back Zechs' and Treize's VAs, as well as Char's VA).
Also, because Seed was the first Gundam series to be digitally animated, the prices for that was high as well.

Too bad you don't really see any new footage from the preview, the blueprints for the " Super " Strike is there though so we can always hope they actually reanimated some of the stockfootage or hell, even added entirely new scenes like the SE's do. does anyone know if they are going to release a third PV? |
