You know just because you have a loaf of bread in front of you it doesn't mean you will always eat it.
Sometimes you just nibble a bit of it and leave the rest on the table. As for what happens to it after, you wouldn't really care.

Maybe the experience left a distaste in his mouth and he decided not to return. She pretty much is another Dio imo.

I get the feeling Giorno's sudden backstory was just brought up only to make the character more sympathetic. It felt like what they did to Kakyoin in Part 3 before his death. Still, the fact that Giorno is Dio's son rather than Joestar brings a major distance from previous main characters.

I like this pacing they're going with so far.
We got Polpo Test this week and it's actually a thing lol https://jojo-polpotest.com/pc.html

Episode 3: Not only the character designs are different, even the animation feels like it is following a different pattern. It's excellent for me since it makes great use of the shadows which old series can make it hard to see depending on your monitor.
On a funny note, it's hilarious how Giorno kept hearing everything Koichi said while talking alone. Looking forward to see this gang. |

An automatic stand. Those are such a bitch to deal with. Even worse news for Giorno is that since Polpo has an arrow, there are probably a lot of stand users in Passione.
It's almost certain Giorno gained his stand back then too, since the narration told us during the flashback that he unconsciously used Gold Experience's ability to make grass grow in order to hide the gangster. Meaning he already had it during his childhood, even though his full awakening is recent.

It doesn't seem the case, but even if it was "dhampirs" usually turn out to be on the good side often becoming vampire slayers. See Vampire Hunter D, Dark Stalker's Donovan or Castlevania's Alucard.

Well, for one, Dio shouldn't be able to have children, but well the transformation of the mask is bizarre so that's the least of the problems. Oh yeah, is not my Jojo's Bizarre if I don't see a character that make me feel uncomfortable. Bruno man, I hope you have a good reason for not tell to Giorno about all this shit, because if you are trying to act mysterious you only are an ass. |

I feel like the author completely discarded Dio as a vampire for some time now since after the introduction of the stands, Dio lost his icy vampiric powers and only used said stand. But truth to be told, it's Jonathan's body so it kinda makes sense for Giorno not being a vampire.

You kind of do have to wonder about the biology of it since it was Jonathan's body (and likely sperm), but there were apparently enough of Dio's genes to give him blond hair .
Although maybe we're supposed to assume Gold Experience gave him blond hair after Giorno unlocked it ?

What I think happened was that Araki came up with a neat new power hook and did not want to do anything with the older stuff so he just ignored it even when it would have been useful. Hamon and vampire abilities had a lot of utility in movement, defense, and attacking other stand users directly that was never used. Just the age retarding effect of Hamon would have been enough reason to practice it.
