I use AGTH with Atlas, but few years ago I took a semester of Japanese that taught me all the hiragana and some of the katakana. After that, watching lots of anime and playing lots of eroges I somehow became capable of grasping the gist of most spoken conversations (but probably not in real-life).

Yeah, it's like taking a very informal class of Japanese Language. I can read some kanji, but not writing them for sure.

Of course it's no substitute for real-life Japanese. I recently listened in to a conversation between two Japanese women. It's really fast. Think about how blitzingly fast young teenage girls speak English, and apply that to Japanese.

humm... There is Erhjegel's blog, but he has the habit to go all fanboy most of the case

(optionally, don't even try to go there if you didn't make sure the door of your room is locked XD)

Another one is Verbal Rubbish. This guy plays eroges without knowing any Japanese.

LOL. I've never seen anyone whose fanboyism goes all out like Hemi ever does. Is that true that m3rry doesn't know any japanese..? I get the impression that he would at least understand it a little, just like I did.

Hoshi-Uta delayed to December..? That means less expected release for this month, and I can reduce my backlog a little more.

Yeah m3rry just uses ATLAS to play his eroges I think that's what Hemi does as well.

There's also Eroge Review, but it's last entry has been on Ikusa Megami 0 and nothing new's been posted so far. For upcoming eroge releases you could also check out getchu's monthly title release to know when they're coming out.

I recently played Twinkle crusaders (a very good eroge) it took more than three weeks to finish all the main routes >.<

lol, i wonder how people do that as well

in my case it usually takes me at least 2-3 days to finish one route. I think my longest was when I was playing Nursery Rhyme with Yukina's route. And still haven't got to complete the game with all girls.

with bunch of new titles released last month i'm still struggling which to play next after i finish Concerto Note and Twinkle Crusaders once.

I think the longest it ever took me to complete an eroge was 4 days and that eroge was Little Busters EX
