Tsuihou mono can be a broad terminology. The main theme is the protagonist receives an unfair treatment. The overused female oriented tusihou mono has heroine disowned by her family. The method could be canceled engagement or being forced to marry to a powerful guy with bad reputation(but he turns out to be a prince charming).

Wow, an expulsion that doesn't even hide one of the most annoying parts: kicked out for only being good at "useless" stuff, only to reveal he's actually great at a lot of things outside that. Usually the hero gains some sort of super ability or finds some way to use his powers to make himself strong in all the "important" areas, so it is a little unusual for the guy to reveal that he's always been strong in that area, though confusing why he'd hide it.
I just wish for once I could find a story where the support role who's kicked out due to his support being deemed "useless" remains "just" a support role. No matter how far in you go, he has no escape from the fact that he's nowhere near able to take on significant threats himself, but his support abilities and tactical know-how can turn even E-rank novices into national heroes. As is, it kind of feels like the authors are recognizing their heroes' "weaknesses" as legitimate weaknesses, and thus rush to make them "strong". |

I believe that's due to the saturation of the LN market. OP in Volume 1 seems to be the norm.
Though, at least in the very summary its pointing out that his bad communication skills was the result of him getting booted out. Hopefully that'll prevent the previous party from being dunked on when they have a legitimate reason... Oh, who am I kidding?

My god, these shows are absolutely everywhere ! This really is the next thing after "reincarnated as a villainess". Not sure it's prominent enough yet to say this is the next thing after the isekai, but we'll see I guess.
The summary really makes the MC sound obnoxious though. He sucks as a healer, but chooses to focus on that and never tells anyone that he can fight really well. Just seems like a jerk that puts everyone in danger because he doesn't feel like fighting. But that'll change once a cute girl is in the equation in a new party with him I suppose. Maybe, just maybe he's really tired of killing. Maybe there's some good reason for this. But this really feels like it barely fits into the overall category. No one is mistreating him here. He's a bad healer and wants to be a healer. I hope they don't try to make the guy that kicked him out look bad. His decision was 100% justified. At least the girl is cute.
