All things considered, Claire and everyone of the girls already have 1 volume dedicated to themselves. So I think they will be more volumes for more character development. I don't see this ending with the Dance Blade tournament ending, rather I say it is a new arc coming afterwards.

I've also rooted for the tomboys and the sporty girls.. not a big fan of tsunderes though (except for Nobuna!~)

Well, if sales are good and there's a strong following, I can see them saying "And the Blade Dance was just the beginning of it all.." *DUN DUN DUN*

Logically, if Restia & Co is going to plan all of this out to get something set up to change Kamito.. it's not like the story's going to just end with "And then they all lived happily ever after .." :P

Pretty sure of that, when I think about it. This Light Novel could become a good game. We already know something is off with the Spirit Lords and Team Inferno trying to make Kamito into the Dark Spirit Lord. So there is no way they can explain all that in one volume, it will raise more questions.

It always depend on what the "harem stories" really are. In the series mentioned here, there are hardly any beside DxD, HnA and IS that have harem as a must for the story. Nobuna doesn't need one IMO, ZnT is more focused on Saito living on Mars ( I mean, c'mon, there's 2 moons) with battles and Toradora was more of a love polygon. Whereas HnA needs it for Kinji's powers and IS needs it to fill the holes.

STnBD is one of the new types of series where you don't really know what'd happen at the end, unlike some other older series.

One thing I totally hate is character development? Is it always mandatory that the character needs an improvement? Can't they always be nice or badass from the beginning?

It's like, having the spoiled, bitch, not-being-honest heroine and another girl who is really nice, straight and determined to have your seed. You simply ignore the latter in hope the the former will improve...

The author might just say "Fuck! I'm the author of this series! I can decide whatever i want with the series I started! You readers have no right to interfere! I'm god!" then makes Claire the sole winner according to first girl win rule.

But shit, it's the readers who bought your work and support you... It's not like you fucking wrote it for free... At least I hope the author will umm, care for the fans too.
