Yui seems to have a strange fetish of wanting to be slapped by bank notes....

And yes, they got that turtle which Yui seems to think its so cute.

Outside of the bit involving Ritsu and the teacher, the episode was pretty lackluster.

Shit was funny though, I hope the show continues to take liberties like this every once in a while.

Got around to Episode 2 finally.

Anyone get the feeling that the couple of episodes of this second season has generally been more tightly written than the first season so far? 'Course, it's still fluff, but I have this vague sense that they're putting more thought into the storyboarding now.

The funny just keeps flying in one after another in this episode. 8/10.

"Mugi's going to the Hardware Store" needs to be intercut with other scenes. Maybe then in concert once or twice. One of them sleeping for the "sleeping bag" bit. Some quick changes for the rapid fire part. Maybe that guy from the music story for the "name tags" bit. Yui bored for the beginning...since I don't think we've seen Mugi bored (spacy Mugi with her overflowing tea cup might work though...depending if you want to focus on any one of them).

But most of it works fairly well as is.

When they were thinking what they were going to do w/ 100k yen, Yui's thoughts totally came out from left field, made me laugh way too hard lol...

I also can't stop replaying that "swallow dance"... ahaha. Probably the funniest K-ON ep I've seen thus far.

They have to expand the lesbian relationships between the girls depth of the story to include the background of the girls. We have covered, so far,

1. Ui x Yui x Nodoka
2. Mio x Ritsu (especially in depth)

and we are lacking in the Mugi and Azunyan departments.

And when will we get Azunyan to wear cat ears again?

Oh, this episode was so good, so good, and so moe~ Way better than episode 1, reminiscent of the fun times of season 1, and renewed my love for K-ON.

Ui probably meant to compliment her older sister on finally doing something herself.

However, Yui took it as a sign that Ui was mad at her. After all, she's rarely ever told by Ui to do something she doesn't like.

Wow the best of K-on really is back.

Even when episode 1 has only been picking up the average second half from S1, and i even read the manga beforehand. Still, this episode deserved a 10 from me. Such a creative director K-on have upon the original material source.

Ritsu and Mugi really shined this episode, while Mio'moe split between her ponytail and thatr "5 millions Yen"moment. Azunyan's "signal lost was cute. Too bad, Yui didn't shine much whenever she's not with Ui (that money slap and Ui's scary when is angry...)

Btw the piece of soundtrack when the girls visit Wac Donald sound awesome, and somehow unique and is really familiar. I knows it was played during ep 1 as well, but do any1 knows what sort of soundtrack is it?

A thoroughly enjoyable episode. Had many good laughs at Sawako, and of course the girls' escapades. The Store section was hilarious.

Have to agree with some that it's better than the first ep, but it's quite irrelevant. It still makes for good Sunday dinner entertainment.
