Normally I don't look at the raw, but the way you put it. My hope and dreams of Gisen and Charles being in the group is slowly Sinking into the Abyss.

well the opening should have gave everybody the idea that the group won't have Gisen and Charles (at least not this season).

Episode 9 cleared up quite a bit of the storyline. Now we know what the Great Shadow Over Japan is and what Yoshihiko's true role in everything is.

Now, I am wondering if Muneakira will sire more Master Samurai since Japan is in dire need of them. Yoshihiko could have just allowed Muneakira create more Master Samurai, but I guess Yoshihiko just wants to control everything for himself.

I was just going with what was actually said in the episode, and with what Yoshi said about her being "probably a scout for Amakusa"... unless he was just lying at the moment, which could be possible considering all that he has done up untill now, hiding things from Sen, etc. He sure isn't an honest type of guy to begin with.

Though Nia and Shirley couldn't be any more different in their presentation. I also like that the ink is starting to dip into multicolored wells of ink, with both white and red/purple making appearances. Wasn't expecting the Great Shadow to be a ghost, but stranger things have happened. The whole thing's starting to give off Mai-Otome vibes. And Gutsugutsu once again steals the show, with her planning to move into her loft, her Team Love Warriors, her "I'll be back." She's the star here, and when she does get Master Samurai power one of these days, it'll be a glorious moment.

He's a bigger pussy when it comes to females than Ikuto from Nagasarete Airantou is, and Ikuto could probably beat his ass with just his wooden sword. Perfect description of his character that I heard in another anime is that he's a big pile of fail. Not that I figured he'd be awesome, but he falls into the same mundane harem male lead of worthlessness... So that just leaves Team Love Soldiers and Sen to break out Jubei and meatsack from their frozen TV dinner status...

Could have been worst, still a little angered by the scene though. Also, dammit Muneakira, how I am sooo disappointed right now in you after ep1. <== Inserts facepalm there Good battle scene at the end there, hoping to get more of that. For the rest of the episode, gotta wait for the sub. Judging by the preview though, I see Gisen near Muneakira face. So there's hope for her yet to still join the group. Don't know about Nia yet, but there's still a chance it can still happen . Not all hope is lost as I thought before I looked at the raw myself. Also, somebody kill that Yoshihiko bastard.
