Spoiler:
But I suppose there's no use arguing anymore. Unlike you guys, I've only read the summaries, so my arguments are running out by now. I still believe Kirino's feelings are deeper than a brother complex, but at this point the only thing I can do is wait for the eighth volume to come. |

Don't think Kyousuke's going to choose any time soon. Conclusion in LN is like cancer, when the time comes it happens, not by design. This is a LN, it is not going to be consistently plotty and concise. Due to the popularity now, it will probably just drag on, with Kirino and co riding up and down the drama lane around Kyousuke, again horrible as it will character stagnate development. LNs are products purely driven by economics, like your daily soap. You wish it has an overaching story line, but instead, much of the development is dependent on the avaibility of acters, viewer preference, scheduling etc rather than by design. LNs are the same, written volume by volume.

I'm kind of reading the manga lately and somehow Kirino's attitude there is much more tolerable. I kinda like the little things pointed out there. Which one is more faithful to the novel? The anime or the manga? Or the anime just butchered way through the novel and just made Kirino more of just a bitch rather than a sister having deprived brother's attention?

by the way, I forgot to make a post here, (well not sure whether anyone cares since most people in this thread have already read the story), but in any case, for the minority, chapter 4 of volume 5 (which should be the concluding part of true route end) has been completed for some days (though B-T is down at the moment oopsie).

That's an incomplete list (not to mention it's just voice actors; Fushimi is an author), and it's outdated by now as a few people on that list already reported being alive and well.
If you wish to know which people in the anime/manga industry have confirmed online to be alright after the earthquake and tsunami, go to ANN; they have a news article there that's updated as the reports come in. Edit: Well, they try, too, anyway. Some news reach less prominent sources faster than others, so you may want to go elsewhere if you're looking for someone specific that's not on that list. |
