What the hell was this? SO... freakin'.................... ARGH!!!!
You know, it was bad enough before the ED song played, but the epilogue made me want to punch the staff so hard. What?! That doesn't even make sense anymore! It takes that new power of Saito's to open that portal, right?! So now you can just freely open portals?! And what about coming back? An eclipse doesn't happen every second.
In the first place, how the hell did you steal the plane?! I'm pretty sure Japan's military base' security isn't that bad!

Oh horrible horrible horrible... If this was the end of just an arc, it actually could fire the viewers up, but to think this was very end! What about the elves! What about the 4 of 4s?
What about the Pope?! THAT WAS NOT EVEN MENTIONED!

Oh and sure, Derf is inside Saito's hand now. Which explains why he.......... could talk even without being inside a weapon...?

Oh Noboru............. Please don't die until you finish to novel............ It would be a nightmare if this ended up being the only conclusion to your story...

Ok, this was first, kind of predictable and second, HOW DID HE MANAGE TO STEAL THE PLANE!! What the heck was this!!

At least, Saito doesn't kiss another girl during this episode ^^' The wedding was cute...

But a girl wearing magician clothes walking in the middle of Tokyo isn't kind of weird

And also, people didn't even seem to notice there was a portal opening in the middle of the street... weird....

Conclusion: Shana ending >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Zero no Tsukaima ending

Funny how the last episode of Zero no Tsukaima made me feel like watching the last episode of Shana again. Well it's because both series:

Spoiler for Shana III ep24:

Zero no Tsukaima ended quite well although Shana's ending was more memorable, too bad. I'm gonna miss both series.
I wonder if JC Staff will complete Hidan no Aria (assuming there will be more seasons) since it belongs in the same group as Shana, Zero no Tsukaima and Toradora.

Not really a fan of Louise

but, like in a lot of anime..I HATE the group off annoing bitch that run everywhere and pop everytime...

In this show the worst character is the princess...really more slut then tiffa, siesta and etc...

That episode drive to to really hope for princess death

I don't know, I thought the princess was a much more interesting character than Louise because she struggles between her feelings for Saito and the country politics whereas louise just either throws a tantrums or ends up running crying only to end up being captured by the enemy.

I mean during all the series is another saito's hare character..
I'm half ok with this (really don't like harem series when there is love mixed)

But in the mirror episode she is really too...too...

I agree with you Serenade_Beta, when I watched this episode and after I ended with it I only just hade cold chills running on my body

What kind of scriptwriters did they use for this series, I didn't mind time to time but they scrapped away almost every element of the plot, monkeys maybe?

And I thought Mirai Nikki's end was bad enough already...

Shana III: The end was kind of chessy by saving people with the magic power but was somehow solid.

But this...

I saw many things, I saw many people complaining and raging on other series but I never got sucked into that kind of thing, but this... it doesn't even makes want to do so, it just left me so cold that I wasn't able to properly type what I had in mind in my first post in this thread.

Just to try to redirect the conversation a bit, given the setup in Episode 11, how did people want Episode 12 to play out?

It seems to me -- albeit naively -- that the ending we see here is pretty on-par with the setup and the way the rest of the season played out... but I'm not sure what people were expecting. I wonder if some of the "rage" about this episode is more pent-up rage about the entire season or anime franchise, and less about the actual episode itself... but maybe I'm wrong. That's why I'm curious about what people expected to happen based on last week's setup.

What were you guys expecting? It is a solid ending to the anime, it was clear from the moment we learned it will only be 12 episodes that they're going to cut around a whole lot. Or is it because Louise won? I guess some people were still expecting Harem ending?
I'm not saying this was great stuff, the whole season was kinda meh to me, and I still don't know how he got that F-16, because, even with his powers, there should be some kind of security, but everything else... played out like the anime prepared it. Even Derf appearing in the Jet is something that was approved by the novels, because something like that did happen there, too.

So I really don't know what the rage is all about.
8/10 for cute Louise, even with the kinda cliché final battle.

Well it's because both series: Spoiler for Shana III ep24: - Already had similarities in the beginning (based on light novel, JC Staff, the main guy and girl, and their seiyuus) - Last episode aired on the same day - The first OP theme was played - Giant "monster" - The guy was believed about to die or disappear - The main guy and girl "officially" became a couple - There was/were ring(s) symbolizing their relationship - Ending scene had them being in another world (not the main world of the series) Zero no Tsukaima ended quite well although Shana's ending was more memorable, too bad. I'm gonna miss both series. I wonder if JC Staff will complete Hidan no Aria (assuming there will be more seasons) since it belongs in the same group as Shana, Zero no Tsukaima and Toradora.
