Damn, buttigieg laid a smack down on Fox News that left them stunned without breaking a sweat. This is the guy we need as a president in the future.

Sorry; dynamic content not loaded. Reload?

Needless to say, I don’t think they will be inviting him back lol

Wouldn't that risk making him too likeable?

So the VP debate was yesterday and nobody posted about it, was it simply just unimpressive, or it didn't matter?

A lot of diverting to other subjects rather than answering any. Like pence getting asked about their plans for preexisting conditions to instead talking about court packing. Ironically he got upset that Harris didn’t give him an answer on this.

^^ A fly in the debate made headlines. I think that tells you enough.

VP debates never matter. Literally.

Literally the only thing interesting that mattered. It's not like we were going to get anything substantive from Mike Pence. (not that Kamala performed well or anything).

But the fly has lead to some interesting takes.

What a load of nonsence. There's so much substantive attack possible to be made on Pence (or anyone of Trump's lackey), and they go with something so childish (surprised they did go with fly being attracted to manure ) instead. Heck they could had used his lack of reaction to the fly to call him a robot or a puppet.

To clarify: nothing substantive coming out from Pence. Never bothered to answer the question asked of him as he was living in a time lagged reality. Kept going on a ridiculous talking point spiel about cutting regulations to UnLeAsH AmErIcAn EnErGy like a drone. The weasel straight up lives in an alternate reality.

There could have been a more scathing attack on Pence by Kamala during the debate pointing out how slimy he was being but she didn't; or rather, she couldn't because of the optics of being a black woman against a white male. It was part of her debate strategy that she had to purposely limit herself.

David Frum did just that.

May be paywalled.

We saw a weird moment when a fly landed on Pence’s snow-white hair—and the vice president did not react at all. No doubt, it’s a conundrum, what to do in such a situation. If Pence had shooed the fly and the fly had refused to shoo, that would have been bad. So he did nothing. And that doing nothing somehow in one powerful visual moment concentrated everything. It symbolized the whole Pence vice presidency, the determined, willful refusal to acknowledge the most blaring and glaring negative realities. Through all of the scandals and the crimes and the disasters of the past four years, Mike Pence was the man who pretended not to notice. And now there was a fly on his head, and he pretended not to notice that too.

For all the hubbub about the 25th you would think Democrats knew Trump simply has to declare himself fit for office to regain his position. It's almost as though the real reason is prepping to allow Kamala assume power if Biden somehow won.

I doubt the commission can do anything in regards to Trump in those last 25 days. This is more on the lines of the assassination of Kennedy and the amendment on how to get a VP become president when the former had been killed. Here it is disease, old age or even poison when a president ends in coma or under a ventilator before he could make arrangements to transfer powers properly and legally. Considering our increasing numbers in humans and animal farming it isn't unlikely that we will get more diseases in the future as well and as seen with that russian guy who got poisoned and nearly died and how the WH failed to keep the most important person safe from covid-19, all that adds pressure for there to be a way on how to deal with a president who might be too sick to keep going, is too prideful to accept that he had gone senile or who is under the influence of drugs which might alter his judgement.

Dunno if this is for Biden to be replaced by Kamala but it will be a useful feature for future presidency if such a case arise then.

Another possible reason the DNC might want that commision, it could be another tool for them to keep the non-neoliberal candidate out of the presidential ticket.

Something like that would be hard pressed to make it past the Supreme Court. Even if it did, it would end up so highly regulated that it is almost impossible to use. Otherwise it would just be a tool for party politics on both sides.

Man trump is getting really desparate to have a vaccine on his watch. Even if it means killing more people with an untested vaccine.

It is really something when both Facebook and Twitter attempt to censor a major media outlet's article in order to protect a Presidential candidate from scandal.

well to be fair for what i get twitter and also facebook now are being a lot "too far left" and censoring many of the "right stuff" and not only "fake news" but many right "normal stuffs" and while i'm not right or left is impossible to not see the "bias toward the left from those social networks.

Are you talking about the supposed emails? Frankly it is incredibly suspicious. A die hard Trump supporter who believes in conspiracy theories happened to get a computer that had damning emails that Trump just so happened to be desperate for. The person who gave it to him never even tried getting it back and no one even knows who it was. Sounds to a set up to start an investigation this close to the election. It worked for Trump last time when they announced that they were looking into Clintons emails again.

Looks like Barron Trump tested Covid positive

I assume you are aware that Biden's campaign does not contest the validity of the emails? I could also post the photographs for you if you really like but pictures of Hunter Biden sleeping with a crack pipe in his mouth would likely be against the rules.

They actually did deny the contents of the emails. Photographs don’t mean anything these days. They supposedly had them since December but did nothing until Trumps ratings were plummeting. Pro trump guy found the emails without saying who gave the laptop to him. Pro trump reporter publishes it without verifying the source. The guy who found the emails can barely keep his story straight on if he called the fbi or if they called him. This screams untrustworthy
