From the looks of it for right now, it would seem that the anime adaption of Break Blade has ended. It has been reported a while back that there would be just six films. As for the manga, it has been ongoing. The current chapter would be 52 with 53 coming out this month. The manga has been licensed by CMX but went out of business when it's parent company DC Comics decided to close it manga section down.

Can't really complain about the last movie: Pretty much action non-stop, some seconds of hot Cleo fanservice, typical conclusion seen when the manga story is left apart and a beautiful final ending song by KOKIA. Such a shame Nike died, though. I liked the batshit insane "loli".

Not to get off topic, but does anyone have a clean version of this pic?

Oh, and for those who think that the big shuriken finishing is ridiculous/outrageous/came out of nowhere, here's a little info: (in the manga, at least) Rygart is intensively trained by a senior officer to master melee and throwing weapons since the day he becomes an officer coz Delphine can't use guns. So with his skill-growth to the point of the last episode combined with Delphine's strength and solid inner frame (did it also confirmed in the anime?), throwing a giant shuriken accurately is not a far-fetched idea at all. Also, Sigyn would never suggest a ridiculous idea. She always use reason/logic in her strategies. I doubt any more BB movies will be made though. Guess we'll see ^_^.

But hopefully the overall sells of limited editions and regular editions would at least leave a possibility for at least an OVA or two. They could inlcude it in a bundle pack as what Air Gear and Fairy Tail did with their OVA releases.

Good to see the spirit of Break Blade lives on. For anyone craving more i highly suggest reading the manga its very good and has way more detail than the OVA's. Plus there are some tasty tid bits of Sigyn and Navi that you cant see in the anime especially in the last chapter.

A little late but the Dub came out on the 21st of this month. PSN has the first three films out for buy on the PS3. The dub was an interesting hear and I thought Sentai Filmworks did a very decent job with the voice casting.

ANN: Broken Blade Fantasy Robot Manga has New Anime in the Works
Looks like we'll be getting yet another adaptation of this, though whether this'll be yet another movie series, or another format entirely is up in the air.

I hope it's another OVA series which continues the last one. The changes they made in the previous OVAs are still acceptable and can be continued with the manga's story. If they want to reboot it, I prefer the TV series approach to develop the characters more.
