Its not just 'cause of what you posted, since Fate started - on these forums people have keep saying how Sakura is just like Kaede.

I can understand that but there ARE people who has only seen the anime of Fate/stay night and some have also watched Shuffle! so those comments are gonna show up, *shrug*

man, Saber never expresses her emotions, just a plain face..why why why!??!? the only expression was in dojo, giving a smile and say to Shirou "do not worry" where Shirou apologize to Saber for leaving again in her room, and when Shirou says *I dont want to be killed like that again* Saber gives a shock emotion. Other than that......just a plain...figure T_T

for those who knew everything about F/SN, play the game etc. what i said about ep.8 when shirou says *I dont want to be killed like that again* sorta gives a hint to Saber's wishes when she was shock and all that. It tells a little about Saber's past

I would give a 9 for this since....u know...SABER's SLeeping face. so CUTE~~~~~~*faints, and dream of being Shirou carrying Saber*

Cue the point, Shuffle and Fate/Stay Night have no relationship what so ever. They are totally different stories, made by different companies, with different types of people. People are just going to keep harping on how the character are the same which for a lot of shows has similarity due to the stereotype class that is used in animes per person.

As for the episode, yea it was pretty good stuff, enjoyed the fight scenes and the Caster vs Rider fight scene from the curtain raiser is good stuff. Saber vs Assassin was done really cool.

One would hope so, since I wouldn't exactly say Shuffle did a fantastic treatment of its characters. But, at this stage of the anime, I can't agree with you. Sakura has yet to contribute anything to the story. She's just there. And we still know virtually nothing about her other than that she likes to cook for Shirou and that she's Shinji's sister.

Perhaps this isn't the place for this, but I feel it needs to be said...... WONDERFUL BANNER!

I gave this episode a slightly above average rating. The episode provided decent fighting and 2 interesting developments occured as well. Shirou will now receive sword training and we received a glimpse of Saber's real power. It makes me wonder why she didn't use it in her fight against Berserker. Perhaps the injury she received from Lancer was the reason? I'm not really sure.

The episode preview was a nice touch. Ilya is my favorite character on the show, so I am delighted. But it definitely makes me disappointed in Shirou. He is a proven pacifist, the last thing he needs to do is fraternize with the enemy. How is building a friendship with Ilya going to make fighting her in the future easier? It's disappointing that he isn't taking this war more seriously.

I was also wondering why Shirou was letting Ilya lie in his lap like that. Wouldn't it make it easier for Ilya to get to Rin, considering she wants to kill her? Unless if she decides to change her mind about it.

she just wants to be nice, remember IIya is in the war too, so she definitely wont forget her objective. I know she has some dirty plans/tricks up her sleeve just by getting close to Shirou.
