Overall it was a great series, but the finale wasn't as good as the some of the earlier stuff. Yukine's corruption and redemption was probably the strongest storyline, so they might have been better off having that as the finale instead.

I will miss this show. I thoroughly enjoyed it. I even loved the OP song although it's not a song style I normally go for. Looking forward to reading the manga which is scheduled for official US debut later this year, IIRC.

What a neat show. While Yato is obviously the main draw, I was surprised by how much Hiyori stole the show for me. The snotty kid's character arc was really good too. That said, I really wasn't feeling the last one or two episodes . Apparently, Rabo was not in the original manga but created for the anime, and...that kinda shows. I didn't think Nora's mention of

to be much of a hook for a continuation and I don't know if it was supposed to be, but I look forward to seeing more all the same.

IMHO, it could have fared better (not to say it didn't), if BONES had made it a 2-cour and animated the next arc instead of going for the anime-ending. If there weren't enough eps, they could have just made it a 20-episode run since the arc ends pretty nicely.

Finished watching the final episode a few days ago... would have to say that episode 12 fight was epic!! >< And other fav episode is 9... so emotional... ><

This anime is now one of my favorites.

And one last thing. I heard from a friend that the anime skipped the Bishamon arc almost entirely.. is this true?

Bishamon and other gods & our trio at a picnic together. Damn, never thought I'd see that. It sure was fun ^^ Yato and Bishamon really are more alike than they'd care to admit.
