It was good to see Frieren having so much fun sharing time with someone more closely relatable to her age.

What confused me was from how long did Frieren know Voll.
It would seem they only met during the hero party journey. But the closeness Frieren showed, made it look they knew each other from longer before.

The talk about memory was also interesting, and possibly a recurring theme later on.
About how memory can partially fade over time, about how long lived races can hold the memory of other people and bring those memories with them far past the life of the persons remembered.

The thing about his age might be pointing to him truly going senile, yeah. But either way, it's still possible that he really is close to his final moments this time.

I agree with Zeando about Frieren spending time with someone of a similar age to hers. Touche on the memories thing.

Though considering how old Stark's master is and how he claimed to barely be able to lift his axe, you have to wonder if this guy is just more robust for his age.

Unless he joined the gang around 150 to 200 years old, that will be different. If he's was around less than 100 years old, I'm sure he's still capable of accompanying Frieren throughout the journey.

Man, Kraft's adventure and heroic deed must have been ages ago if even 1000+ years old Frieren can't remember him. Warrior Gorilla, lol, I bet people would remember that name alone for how unique it sounds. XD

Stark is growing up real quickly... oh they are growing older! We all know what this means in like 60-70 years! o.o

I will be honest though I know some people who would kill for owning such "legendary" magic spells as Frieren named some suggestions. Granny magic ftw!^^

A spell powerful enough to kill the Demon King may sound impressive, but how often do you need to do that? And even if you don't do it, there'll always be some hero or other to do it. Stubborn stains, OTOH, are a constant danger, and you can't just wait for some rando to deal with it.

I wonder if the Demon King came back to life or if it's a successor. If it's a successor, they may not need to do it very many times, but if he came back to life then they need to find a way to destroy him in such a way that he can't come back again.

The spells Frieren mentioned do sound useful and amazing, though.

Manga updated. Kraft popped up to save the life of some bandits who were about to get butchered. Fern and Frieren are now doing a tournament arc.

Kraft returned! And left. Hope it wasn't the last time we saw him. Dude's a good guy. Wish we knew what his past heroic deeds were exactly.

Frieren and Fern in the first class test, boy, this gonna be awesome!

You know, for Kraft to have so little screen time comparatively, he's a solid character. Also helps that he pops up every ten or so chapters. Keeps interest fresh.

Übel sounds like bad news and she's in Fern's party. I just hope she doesn't do anything to get all three of them disqualified. And I'm not sure about those other two girls in Frieren's party.

I wonder if this exam can have two people passing? It'd be great if Frieren or Fern manages to pass.

But Frieren said that going to the Northern Plateau, where they want to go, requires having both a first-class mage and a priest in your party. They don't have a priest right now. It'd be great if either Sein rejoined them by then or Kraft joined them. I'd be fine with either one happening, personally.
