Yes!! Latest chapter made my day. Thanks blewin!!
Oh and the latest raw novel is now on the net, the last image was damn epic. I think shou means destruction in japanese, so I think shou kei is another term for external kei that is massive degree of power. Last edited by godgiven25; 2010-03-18 at 08:47. |

omg epic!!!! Now that is how a filth monster should be fought freaking by 3 heaven's blades!!! Man that was so much more awesome then the anime and that's a huge statement considering that the anime is animated. I finally understood the first ep when layfon and them were fighting the filth monsters and why the both savaris and lintence were looking so surprised when they saw layfon charging down on the core of the fm.
EPICCCC keep up the good work blewin.

Shou Kei - colliding force. It's another way to describe what giorno said "a destructive power" but the word itself contains information on the movement of the force.
I hope we'll get season 2 as well, Kleeyook! Wholeheartedly agree with you, holyman. And this is probably the first time we get so much from Savaris' perspective. Did anyone find the last part emotional and poignant? It's amazing how calm Layfon could hold it together after such a mentally exhausting fight. This chapter gives great insight into Layfon's psychology. I think this goes back to the cliche theme of "becoming stronger so to protect others"....

I agree with that.
Makes me wanna cry at the last part. Man Layfon quite sure is self-sacrificing for a boy of his age and still make a warm smile after returning home. And you could actually understood the difference between the HB Layfon and the Layfon from the orphanage. I actually prefer NinaXLayfon, but Leerin really understand Layfon w/c is pale in comparison w/ Nina, Felli, and Meishen. And I'll go w/ LeerinXLayfon for that |

forgive me for being stupid but could someone describe what the last scene was all about with Layfon helping leerin with her shopping? I think I may have missed the subtle message that's been hidden.

yeah, Layfon's awesome in that aspect, godgiven.
holyman, the last part took place right after Layfon's 3 days 3 nights fight with the filth monster. He came back home, met Leerin, and naturally went shopping with her. He didn't mention one single word about the fight though. The end message is: the person he wanted to see the most after such an intense fight was Leerin.

I'll root for either Leerin or my fav Felli. Meichen is good as well, but I prefer Felli and Leerin more.
But I can't stand Nina. She's a b!tch imo. At least she got nicer. Also, Layfon's only mistake was that he missed the chance to silence that ****. Who cares about HB receiver's reputation anyway!? It's not like those inferior mediocre beings would be able to become HB receiver like the elite ones anyway. |

Heaven's Blade Receivers isn't just about reputation. Those elites can't become HBRs easily and its impossible for the normal Military Artist. The requirement for a HBR is insane skill and extremely large amount of kei. Like Layfon said, Haia has the skill enough to become a HB but he doesn't have the Kei to become one.
In short HBRs are monsters feared by monsters that can take on an army of filth monsters or military artists. Alone And the reason for Layfon's exile isn't his participation in the underground matches, and it will be bigger trouble if he killed him. The reason is using to much kei in defeating Gahard. The queen doesn't want the normal citizen to realize that they are living with monsters. To tell the truth I really hate how the anime projected Nina's character, but it's quite different when it comes for the LN Nina. She's like Tifa(FF7) and Sylvia(Princess Lover) combined into one Last edited by godgiven25; 2010-03-22 at 22:14. |
