Wow this was such a powerful chapter.

I got struck when Ruri cried, and when Shuu gave her that last pic.

I didn't cry, but it really moved me.

I have faith those two glasses buddies will get together by the end

She doesn't necessarily have to die, but might fall into a coma or something.

If my theory is right she is most likely indeed (like she claims) the locket girl and her death/coma is supposed to create a drama stage for whoever is the end girl.

Didn't think that Ruri's grandpa to actually die though that moment with Ruri & Shuu was nice, That picture of Ruri smiling is a treasure since we don't get to see her smile.

That was a really good chapter. I generally like RurixShuu moments but that one was really nice. TBH this entire grandpa story was really telling about both of them.

I must say this is probably one of the best chapters I have ever read in terms of that emotional impact. I was very moved by Ruri's confession to her grandfather that it was all a hoax.

Despite what she says at times, Shuu seems the one who understands her the most. How else would he be able to read what Ruri wanted? And that smile is absolutely charming; she should smile more to be honest, even just momentarily.

Over the course of the two chapters, it seems Raku and Shuu both raised flags with Ruri at some points. Of course, Shuu's hit home quite hard.

I like this better. Small and sweet moments of Shuu and Ruri but its sad that after a happy goodbye with grandpa. He really ended up dying

Considering the next batch of chapters will go back to focusing on Raku, yeah, they'll be filler chapters. Seems like anything to do with him is a filler chapter now. I believe it's a failure on the authors part when people care more about the beta couple than the lead characters.

What a nice story, the death of grandpa was done very well and made really think better of Ruri. Shuu and Ruri's interaction here was really outstanding and this has to be a moment that could push them closer.

Now this was a good nice little chapter. The death of the grandfather was handled nicely and was quite touching. Ruri in that picture (even though not smiling) looked pretty well. But I really hope that we can get back on track for the story. It feels like it has been ages since the plot moved forward.

aww... when I read "a week after, grandpa died", I feel that my heart just broke

Shuu is coming at the perfect time to raise Ruri's flag... although Ruri must brush out her embarrassment and cried on Shuu's shoulder instead

what a warming ShuuxRuri chapter.... I think this is so far one of the best arc in Nisekoi (well, I also still love Romeo-Juliet arc and Amnesia-arc)

I'd say this about Tsugumi, though... Tanabata Festival was fine because character development, so Raku's fine... for now. And I believe in the author.

I want our Mistery Girl #1 have a chapter, BTW, since Paula's now a part of background. Or Marika, either's fine.

More like another wave of Onodera focused chapters (either Kosaki or Haru) and like 2 focusing on someone else

.

Really hope, the plot starts moving forward next chapter, but I'm not holding my breath.
