I also kinda have the feeling that we might get a flashback involving Luffy and Ace's childhood, as well. It would certainly help stretch out what's supposed to be a year-long storyline.....
The War will do just that.

Edit:Or else this manga would Fail.

Wow, I was just thinking how this storyline might be longer than a year. If Oda plan's on going through each SH's storyline and then approach the final battle when they all meet up again, it could take close to two years to finish, or at least one and a half.

Somehow I doubt that we will see what all SHs are doing. I doubt Oda will show us few weeks of Zoro lieing in bed in bandages.

It's also great to see that Inazuma is Iva's right hand after all. I can't wait to see him (her?) kick some ass in level 6. I also kinda wonder if Iva's latest injection will be effective against Magellan's poison? He warned Luffy that it has nasty side effects, and the poison might null the adrenaline altogether. It'll definitely be interesting to see how this plays out (hey, a rematch between those two guys is pretty much in the bag now that Magellan's also in level 6).....

Also, now that we know about Iva and Inazuma being rebels, along with all the talk about Luffy's family during the course of this storyline, I think it's pretty much inevitable that Dragon will have involvement in the war. However, I wonder if he'll attack the WG for more...... personal reasons? I mean, both of his sons ARE imprisoned right now. If Kuma really is a spy for him, then he should've already told him all about Luffy's situation. I also kinda have the feeling that we might get a flashback involving Luffy and Ace's childhood, as well. It would certainly help stretch out what's supposed to be a year-long storyline.....

But right now I'm a bit more interested in current events: Chiefly, stuff like the whereabouts of Buggy and Mr. 3. We still haven't seen them reappear, even when we saw Luffy, Iva and Inazuma barrelling their way through level 5. And of course, Shiryuu and the other level 6 prisoners have yet to appear, as well......
Here's a prediction I have that is only a possibility: Even if Luffy manages to defeat Magellan and/or Shiryuu, Onigumo would kill Ace in front of Luffy.

great chapter. it looks like all hell is about to actully break loose. i hate that OP is going on a break. AARRRRGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHH! i want more.

i just hope that it does not suddenly cut to chapters of all the SH crew. even though i would not mind that ut it would leave me a little fustrated. after all this build up.

Aah another great chapter, truely enjoyed with every page, great revelations and lots of information again...Luffy is back on the tracks, fueled up and ready for round 2...

Now that World goverment and Whitebeard and his supporters are about engage in all-out war new information from Ivan could mean that Dragon will also take opportunity and strike against WG, perhaps to save Ace is one of main reasons too.

Most of people seem to be certain that WG will emerge victorious on this conflict but I am not personally so sure, Shanks is also assisting Whitebeard who alone is truely force to be reckoned with, and now Revolutionarists with command over multiple countrys are also striking against WG I am not sure can it withstand such forces same time.

Ah damn no OP in 2 weeks... it will feel like a lifetime, for me one chapter for One Piece measures over 5 Naruto chapters and over 20 Bleach chapters...

Wait will be long, but Oda truely deserves his rests...

I'd say 20 Naruto and 10 Bleach XD

Iwa was set up few chapters before he apeared, and now we have a set up of Dragon connection. In few more chapters after Ace is transported or saved, we will see some revolutionists.

It's about time to see what Sengoku thinks about stuff going on. Maybe a small look at Shichibukai, and Kuma informing Dragon.

What final battle?

Edit:anyone Notice the guy with the drink was a girl with a drink in the last chapter and now a guy with a drink in this chapter?

Eh, I'm sure the war will come, but just not so soon. Like I said before, we've had all this talk about Dragon and his sons, so this storyline might be a good excuse to further explore their history. Not saying that I'm not looking forward to the war, but I'm still more interested in the current events, that's all (I'm also still kinda wondering if that huge dude near Ace's cell is San Juan Wolf).....

I should also mention that I found it awesome to see Hannyabal taking control of the situation when he found out about Luffy and co. breaking out of level 5. Sure, he's most likely being serious out of fear for losing his job, but it's still cool nonetheless. I'm still crossing my fingers for the chance that he'll get some action in level 6.....

Another little detail I found rather interesting is the fact that Iva refers to Luffy as a Supernova. It's pretty cool to know that it's the "official" term for the top rookies of the GL rather than a fanmade one. And speaking of Supernovas, I'm still wondering if any of the others will reappear soon? I guess it's still possible that Buggy and Mr. 3 may have rescued them and are now laying low somewhere (which is why they haven't shown up for a few chapters now), but I guess I'm just a little surprised that we haven't seen any other Supernovas earlier (like when Luffy was first taken to level 5 a few chapters back). We still need confirmation on whether or not Kidd and Law managed to escape from Kizaru's wrath at Sabaody.....

Oh, and I need to mention again how much I loved seeing Inazuma kick ass with Luffy in level 5. Seeing him fight while holding that wineglass actually reminds me a bit of Will Zeppeli from Jojo's Bizarre Adventure (who also fought while drinking wine ). I'm kinda wondering if he'll turn out to be a Haki user, just to create another similarity between that and Hamon......

The final showdown. Ya know the last big face down of the main villains vs. the SH's, just like we've been seeing in every arc up until this point.

Great chapter!

So twho of the spoliers pages vere true

I wonder if Luffy is now not immunized to Magelan's poison. Because it seems that they will have to face Magelan.

So Dragon was caring for his family all this time, it seems. Too bad he was not present when his wife ( ? ) died. I guess that Ace is mad at him about that.

Thought you meant the finale grand battle of extravaganza in the entire series.
When using the words "final" battle" it's easy to think you talked about the end of One Piece.

We don't really know for sure if Luffy and Ace's mom (or mothers) are dead. What we DO know is that Ace had more respect for his mother and Whitebeard than he did for his "true" father. Luffy's never spoken of his mother at all so we can't really say much for him, either. Of course, there's still the possibility that mama Portgas is the "Dadan" that the mayor of Luffy's village spoke of (and if it is, then that means she's still alive)......

Man, all hell's gonna break loose!

And remembering Crocodile (who is down in level 6), I wonder if Luffy will beat the Cheif Warden the same way as he beat Crocodile, except with Gears.

So Inazuma was also from the revolutionary army and from level 5. If mentioned before I didn't notice that. Should have expected considering the trust Iva showed in him.

Now, if there are any other revolutionaries at that level, it is going to be a great escape. Most likely Shiryuu will also appear. I don't mind him fighting against Magellan, considering that he must have lost to be captured in the first place, he must be seeking revenge. I am also expecting more hormonal victims to Iva's ability.

I am looking forward for the heavy after-effects that will manifest on Luffy's body some days after what is happening now.

Maybe he will become a woman for a few days =D That would be hilarious

Well I doubt that will happen since all s/he did was give luffy an adrenaline rush but with One Piece you never really know do you?

I'm pretty happy with One Piece lately, It's pretty unbelievable to think that we've only been in Impel Down about 15 chapters or so.
