Social Contrast within 21st Japan
Episode 11 described to us the social differences between the Western and the Eastern regions of Japan within the Baku-Ten universe.
The people of Dai-Osaka were discussing how alarming crime and public insecurity have been gone overboard in Tokyo. The community of Dai-Osaka has been making efforts to prevent uprisings, arm bearers, and gang strongholds from appearing into public scenery. The people there do not wish to end just like the people at Tokyo and... Spoiler:
We got to see a 99% pure Jo in this episode; no Sei, Meg, nor Amy present. Kyouhei got the poorest of lucks since he was caught by cops who were on the bad mood. It seems that the tragic event made the entire force turning paranoic. Spoiler:
And the police cop who caught up with Joe shows up wearing a reminiscent sailor uniform, I believe so? |

heh. But it could be anything. But takane is wearing a bike gangster coat over it, it probably jut a trend t owear your school uniform. I mean the whole point schools in japanese design cute uniforms for the girls because they want them to enjoy wearing them and for them to be identified to a certain school. Heh. ahh, megumi i must say she has a really nasty sense of being in the wrong place, at the wrong time, EVERY TIME! EDIT: OMG!!! Episode 13!!!! SEI IS HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOT!! click the link!! Baku-Ten licensed under the dubbed title, "Burst Angel".
I knew it all along they were going to give it that title for the American release. FUNimation licensed it, yippie!! Call it premonition, but I foretold along that FUNimation will end up licensing Baku-Ten. I wonder if Baku-Ten will it going to be broadcasted in "Adult Swim" Last edited by Guido; 2004-07-03 at 15:21. Reason: Made a mistake |

It is a relaity that anime publishers in the west are becoming more ruthless in staching these gems, which can only be a good thing in furthering the advance of the Anime Invasion! Anime Banzai! Quote:
It isn't technically stealing, watching something for "free" becomes illegal if the episodes from this series was taken from a DVD producted and purchased and is licenced by a specific company in your region of the world. These episodes available on the internet were record from Japan and subtitled by fans. To be accused of a crime is the same thing as taping a show on American TV, mailing it to a friend in Europe subtitled in Spanish, then having them accused of illegal viewing because that program has been licenced in that country. Don't be a baka. It is fansubbing and internet sharing of Anime that has supported the Anime Invasion. We need it and it will continue!! :fingers: |
