Plot suffered a bit this episode and the bionic suit seemed rather pointless but it wasn't terrible. It's not surprising they removed Maeno since another time gap like the last episode and he'd be dead from natural causes anyhow. The final scene was definitely the most powerful. It's possible his wife thinks he ran off with another woman since he's now missing, with an empty ring box left behind. Then again, maybe she knew about the spore.

The latter.
Kouki handed her the spore in ep2. That's why she seems to have understood what happened to him (well, not the specifics though). But she definitely knows he's gone, just like her brother.

the ring box had the spore, which he took I noticed that earlier, but didn't know exactly what was in it. I did suspect the spore since it was in front of her brother's picture though. So she knows for sure he's gone, since she knows what happened to her brother.

Having that 20 year jump was WEIRD at first. I had a double take on that year they put up at the begining. The mech armor makes sense to me. I guess what had happened was she ate the spore while she was severely injured, and because of that, she's injured for life. She also wanted to kill a ton of men i suppose (or basically just be a power freak) that'd be kind of hard if your body is in terrible shape don't you think?

This show continues to hold my attention with the crazy crap that happens (operating on Rin while she's still awake and such)
Having Maeno gone kinda sucks though. I thought he'd stick around and die some other way.

I'm noticing I'm starting to NOT want to watch comedies as much. I want blood, death, boobs and explosions. Hey, look Mnemosyne got subbed! *salivates* basically is what my reaction was when I was looking for something to watch tonight.

Plot wasn't as strong i dont' think, but it was really interesting to see how things changed in 20 years. It was also interesting to see how Rin and Mimi get by in through the decades (centuries?) they're "descendants" of themselves. Man, this show is a VERY nice fresh of breath air in an age where there hasn't been this much really action/violent/mature style shows. There are some, but i dont' think many go as far as Mnemosyne. It's brutal to the point my brain hurts.

Rin's always talking to someone on the phone! But I'm not sure if it's mentioned who that person is.

yay! this finally got subbed. It was good, not as much action, but the time skip was a little weird. i wonder why the woman who gives information didn't personally take care of the payment with mimi. Perhaps she's getting old...or maybe she prefers Rin....or maybe she doesn't want to do it with a kid. Poor maeno, he died for Rin, even though Rin is immortal. How ironic.

Am I the only one curious about that girl Apos has chained up by the chess table? Shes been shown in about every episode and shes obviously immortal since he keeps sticking knives into her. Maybe she will play an important role later by getting free? Or maybe shes just there to show that Apos is a sick little puppy

I wasn't able to enjoy this episode very much but it was inevitable. They had to explain more about that mysterious guy and complicate the plot more. I actually like it, but it's not as good as the first episode.

My impression is that Apos captures immortals and then tortures them before he eats their seed. He made a remark about painful memories tasting better.

Well, it's pretty decent episode. I thought they would show a little more of the surgery part and more fighting.

Next Episode seems.... less gore and more fan service? It seems like another character from the OP will make her appearence, hope it's going to be better.
