I dunno, it looks like a freehand copy to me. I see pretty much no perfectly-overlayed lines, which I would be seeing if it were a trace. Unless you are using a different definition of trace from me.
*my sister agrees, I asked since I know nothing about art and she's decent ;d edit: Also, I'd say that the fact that it more dissimilar near the bottom is consistent with freehand copying, since minor changes would start adding up more the further down you went, assuming you started at the top. |
