Good for you. I don't mind the lore but I absolutely hate when it comes to magic technical. Until now, I still can't understand the magic entropy thing 100%. It bored and confused me so much I literally skimmed it thru.

I believe that's the main charm of this novel.
While writing complicated stuff does not necessarily make it good, it does show that it's not shallow, or generic...
At least it's something to be thankful for, I guess.

I heard of one LN series, Herscherik, which got cancelled back in July 2020 because the publisher felt the author took too long to write out the novel (about 2 years+ since the last book came out).

Didn't help that Herscherik's author had immense actual writer's block, was on bad terms with publishers and the novels were not selling well with Japanese fanbase.

That would be the difference here. This novel SOLD WELL. its in rankings and has english licensed.

IIRC, over 500k total LN sales and the manga hit 1 million a few months ago.

I hope he's not starting a new LN series since this is one of his LNs I enjoy very much. Wouldn't to release a SS volume to stall for time, you know. Still looking forward the other world's reaction to Hydemary. I also have a feeling that someone is going to sneak in to the other world somehow.

We see if the author will finally budge to move the story forward.

Manga is still ongoing. 38 chapters out in Japan, with 39 coming this Jan 29th.

Hopefully the manga can keep up with the LN now that it's on hiatus. I can't find any new raw or translated chapters after ch36.

^ The raw manga is at 39 chapters. Also the LN would have to be on hiatus for several years in order for the manga to catch up considering the manga is still in the middle of covering vol 4 of the LN, at which point I'd be more worried the manga would get axed somewhere before catching up.

The author began to publish a new WN exactly a week after he stopped updating this series, at the end of this month it will be two years since this new series was made into a book, in the afterword of its four and latest book, just like in the previous ones, there wasn't a word about the authors's other works.

The fith volume of this series is scheduled for this winter, problaby December, and the author is stil updating his newest WN, so he's alive and still writing if that is what concerns you, if he remembers about isekai mahou ha okureteiru is another matter.

The author DID say this series will be put on hiatus to work on new LN series. So it's not canceled. Hopefully after a year or two the author will continue. I don't how many new LN series was made so far after that recent failed one last year.
