While I understand the reality of our world and that authors have to make money (not sure exactly what was the case for this series, though), it's disappointing when an author put a series hiatus and might never conclude it to focus on something else.

Not much. Reiji and others return to Tia's kingdom to visit the king for the upcoming Seven Swords ceremony. They talk with the king about Suimei returning to Earth with the king worried about if Reiji will return to Earth but he's staying.

I’m really interested in that guy towards the end of Volume 9. If he’s the other guy that fought with Suimei to “defeat” Kudrick the Ghosthide, it will be really interesting. Suimei mentioned he’s absolutely absurd. I really want to know more about him.

i cant believe after all these years i found physical copies of this series in a bookstore here. if its popular enough to get to a country as obscure as romania, then i wonder why overlap gave as little care as they did to this series

^ It's less about care and more this series has been cursed with repeated logistical issues that has forced them to change the artist more than once, which is pretty bad considering there aren't even 10 vols of LN yet.
