Even if I'm counter to the grain, I must say that I love pop-rock feel of "Kirameku namida wa hoshi ni" I've been scouring the internet for an mp3, but a mp4/avi vid is the best i can come up with. Apparently not comming out till end of may. I'm uberly disappointed. It definately has that "Gundam SEED Destiny / Boku-tachi no Yukue" the ante has been upped feel to it. And if Eclipse's translators are worth their salt, the lyrics are pretty interesting and perhaps desperate as well. As if to forshadow some serious dark and dreary carnage to come. It seems to fit Shirou well, since he's the one to reach for the "stars" of his morals even when his life is thick with "clouds".

Nowhere near as much as I enjoy disillusion. I'm not sure whether or not I want to buy Kirameku Namida wa Hoshi ni, whereas I had no second thoughts about disillusion at all. The song just doesn't, as many people state, fit in with what I've seen Fate to be so far. And it's too dissonant after the building mysteriousness of the previous OP. Mind you, I'm just hoping that a single is released with the ED song used for episode 14 (title escapes me at the moment), as that was beautiful. -Andiyar

Well, upon another episode utilising it, I'm starting to mellow somewhat to Kirameku. It has become somewhat likely I will buy it, rather than probably unlikely that I will buy it.

I'm hoping it comes as a B-side to Kirameku Namida wa Hoshi ni, though I'm pretty sure it won't. Maybe on the proper OST if and when? *prays for a proper OST*. Ah well, if worst comes to worst, I'll buy Jyukai's album (assuming it happens) if Hikari's on it ^_^ -Andiyar

Hm. It's listed on HMV.JP, but not under the new catalogue labels that Geneon has been using for the OP and ED singles. Interesting. Doing a trawl of the 'net and the usual places using the catalogue number (GNCA-1093 for the interested) turns up... almost nothing. HMV and Animate-Shop are the only two places that are listing it yet. Weird. I hope my preferred places put it up soon. It's odd that it isn't already everywhere, as all the other disks were available all over the 'net for preorder substantially in advance, and all at the same time everywhere - not at a 'preferred vendor.' Weird. -Andiyar

I actualy like the new OP.., like many though.. specialy the parts where we see the Archer vs Shirou scenes..
Leads me to think if they will ever happen, this despite the tremendous speculation arround it.. Never the less.., the new OP song sounded realy bad to me..; I know I know.., there are worst.., but compared to the original OP song its no-where near as good.. Disillusion was one of the not many OP songs that I immediatly liked when I heard it the first time.., it was realy a shame they toke it off in my opinion.., not to mencione strange.., since in most anime when the OP changes, the OP song remains the same.., specialy in only 1 season anime's (fate-stay = 24 episodes). It would realy be perfect for Fate-Stay if this new OP had the original song instead |

I like the new OP...really boost my battle lust...
Anyways, I'm not sure if anyone have mentioned this in the forum, but if you watch the new OP's video, at around 48 seconds into the music. You will notice the background turns green with Saber looking forward with her sword on the ground. Look more carefully and you'll notice that in the green background there'll be scene previews from the episode... |

For the ending song as the credits are rolling, (love the singers voice), picture Saber, just as the singing begins as shes standing there with the sword in ground.
Put Saber in a lighter version of her dress costume she has on, with a microphone in her hand, and watch SABER sing the song in japanese. Helps to read the subtitles as this is happening, but YOU can do IT!. Really, soon as you focus the real human emotion with the words and the sound of the singers voice, you can see and hear Saber. Once you can watch hear and visualize that, add Rin dancing beside her same moves , then some of the others. You can 'SEE' as many as you can mesh in your mind. If the singer had put any more feeling into the song, I think it would have had everyone crying for sometime after each time we hear it. Anyhow, DON'T try to use this when your not sitting at home on bed, coutch, chair. Don;t do it in anyway while driving... |
