For me, I'd like to see animes based on these games.
Metal Gear Solid
Red Faction
Dues Ex
Halo (maybe)
SoulCalibur
Guilty Gear (other than Bonus clip in X2)
Xenosaga
Ninja Gaiden
Dead or Alive (probably ends up a hentai)
Mortal Kombat
Rachet & Clank
Jak
StarCraft
thats all I can think of for now

There were some announcements about a Xenosaga anime a while back, and if you want a halo-themed show, just watch Red vs Blue.

Any of the Marl's Kingdom games would be fun to watch (like Rhapsody or Disgaea), but the ultimate game to show conversion would have to be Genso Suikoden II. You could also do I and III, but II was the best one.

I would like to see a Castlevania one...

And a Kingdom Hearts one too... but not anime style. I just can't picture Donald or Mickey in anime style. They just gotta be american, drawn by disney.

there is actually a mortal kombat animation (not anime...and it sucks)
Starcraft would work better as a CG movie than a regular animation (otherwise people would complain about the aesthetics of the characters...)

The thing about making anime series from fighting games is that the result usually ends up being something like Battle Arena Toshinden.

"Call me QUEEN~!!" being the only good line from that OVA.

Amano Shiro did a pretty good job with the manga - draw the Disney characters in the style Disney uses (with a few exceptions... Alice got an eyejob, but is still recognizable) and the rest of the characters in his own style. It works surprisingly well.

From what ive heard Lineage II is alot like Record of Lodoss War, havent seen that anime myself though.

I could picture Seiken Densetsu probably around 50-52 episodes. With at least some OVAs running for it.

The anime in the game was...dodgy

have an anime on guilty gear! its already ready made for that... it has a story, and all the characters r done in anime style... soul calibur would be nice too... devil may cry? or zone of enders... sigh... ill go daydream over them...
i agree, starcraft must be done in cg style... its just expected, after all the cinematics everyone seen. have warcraft too! and unreal tournament. yea. unreal tournament. baldurs gate. neverwinter nights. icewind dale.
also, do an anime on tales on phantasia (snes/ ps game)
a show on deus ex? they already have 1. its called the matrix. -_- but it is rather similar... everyones in baggy trenchcoats that make them look bigger than they really are.
metal gear solid as an anime/movie would be real nice...

Theres already an anime for Zone of the Enders, theres the movie Idolo, and the series Delores i, both were excellent. Unreal Tournament would be great, but there wouldn't be a good story to it. I would like to see one for Half Life, Doom, and Powerstone.
