One of the lessons she taught was, "If you can't become medicine then be poison. If not then you are just odorless, tasteless water." How you want to interpret it is up to the person.

Oshino never appeared in person but I guess in spirit in Kabuki.

There are still 3 more books and probably even more after that so it's entirely possible that we'll see him again.

drowning and falling down the damn stairs can't even match up to this ominous vibe i'm getting from just 2 words

i think i'm more depressed that i've come to the end of this thread that i just saw yesterday (should be 100+ pages )

There is just not enough people here that have read the latest novels. (Nor any of the older ones either) I mean I'm totally up for talking about this series 24/7 but you run out of things to talk about when you only have the same group of people.

Well, there was that one date in Bakemonogatari where she made him call her Hitagi. That was when her father was taking them to Hitagi's favorite stargazing spot.

Well how do we define Araragi X Someone anyways? Love? Closeness? Kabuki showed that Araragi and Hitagi were destined to love each other but at the same time they are in a sense from different worlds. The human side of Araragi is closer to Hitagi but the Kaii side of him is closer to Shinobu.

From what I can tell the one she is hiding inside herself is a copy of the original Kokorowatari that the first created. Whether it was made specifically for her, I don't think so. She said she inherited it so I assume she took possession of it after he died. Also just to add a curve ball, Shinobu can create additional ones using her powers. In Kabuki she created clones of it when they thought they needed to fight Kissshot X.
