Well, but does that mean that
Spoiler for Manga:
And why so many user on that board refer to the mangaka as a female saying that it is another shoujo-istic stuff (concurrence between old-bofriend and new one, so the heroine can enjoy the reverse harem). I thought the author was supposed to be male. Last edited by Darknemo2000; 2008-11-10 at 14:34. |

I don't know what to say. Don't quite understand how their brains work.
@ Darknemo2000 I remember what you said about greek gods. You are right. They are doing such things all the time. Only two goddess among many are virgins (Athena and Artemis).

In Japanese mythological culture (the smaller goddess) are bit more strick about the whole virginity issue as being a virgin means being pure and innocent.
In real life in our old religion (lithuanian one) we had the vaidilutes virgins who protected the saint fire and saint woods. If one would loose virginity she could not be protecting it. Spoiler for stuff:
Some of their reactions were really funny. Some even decided to drop Kannagi because of that. Funny. But with otakus it can become a serious issue - ask JC Staff and their production of Kimikiss anime what it means to piss off otaku's. They are weird, scary people I tell you. |

Happy ending? I'd like to remind you guys, the author has worked with Type-Moon for a long time, there is no guarantee that she won't pull a Type-Moon style ending to sadden fans.
Make Jin happy? Hakua may, but I don't think Zange gives much a damn about him when Nagi is gone.

Wow, that thread is scary, such a huge backlash.
But anyways, from what I can see, if it matters... Spoiler for thoughts about her "pureness":
Also, I think you guys are getting ahead of yourselves. Spoiler for more conjecture:
@herbert I don't think you can really compare Type-Moon stuff and this. Visual novels are aimed at a completely different demographic. |

Anyways this whole virgin or not thing reminds me of a recent J-Drama I saw called Ryuusei no Kizuna. In one scene it had the main characters in a Maid Coffee restaurant where a bunch of Otakus where. One of the main characters said to her brother that she's not a virgin anymore causing her brother and the Otaku's who were listening to the conversation to get depress and walking away with their heads down disappointed. She then said that she was lying though causing her brother and the other Otaku's to get happy again, with the otaku's being interested in her again. |

But, yeah, looking at the list, it is really better than I thought, perhaps it's because my fav's. are Akiha, Toko and Fujino. I got my impression mostly based on them. Edit: forget to quote this. From http://forums.animesuki.com/showpost...&postcount=753 Side characters are always sad.

I see, she does have some connection to TYPE-Moon, but all she does are anthology books.
