Anyway, I'm still going to write the 2nd story arc. Although, I still don't know for sure if the Canon characters are going to get their spot light back in that arc like originally planned, but maybe I might work something out. If there's one thing I need help on, it would be this: What would be the things the ISA students are likely to do when they spot my guys on the Academy grounds? Consider yourself honored
.... only for Ichika to come back from death and berating Chifuyu for being an indecisive hypocrite. Him growing spines leads to few demerits too, that's how they're portrayed in ST

Any female that inherits a martial lineage will get flak for it in some form, no matter what. She'd have to be 120% better than most men who challenge her/make fun of her in order to be taken seriously by mainstream people. This is why I'm wary of female fighters - they DO have something to prove and beating you bloody is that proof.

Um... *thinks for a moment* Crossdressing like that is not recommended, especially for any of the really physical martial arts that involve grapples (Judo, jujitsu, etc). Cutting of long hair for a short, boyish cut is usually enough of a sign that she wants to be treated seriously but it's a definite up-hill battle.
Some martial arts, like Akido and Wing Chun, work well for women since the philosophy behind them works well with a woman's strength level so it's not that big of a deal. It depends on the martial art(s) that's being practiced.

@ Eras & Tempest
Averted if female are held at higher place from the get go Shinonono lineage, for example, are led by male (per Japan's traditional hierarchy), but they honor the virtue of women and their signature style is entirely developed for women to use. Been hundreds of year old, too. Houki inheriting the dojo will not be that odd, she will be de facto leader even if she has uninterested husband as de jure leader. (Of course, there's Tabane's screw up) Sarashiki also implied to be matriarchal, but can't vouch for it considering very little info about them. @ Jak Most of them will have passing curiosity. Considering your guys are musclebound perpetual frowner, I bet my ass some of the girls who just happen to bump unto them is flat out scared. From here, it's up to you to choose, because I can't guess hows the reaction of 450 girls + more staff.
