Gotta love the Ryner and Ferris moments. It was much more enjoyable, compared to how the anime displayed, with Ryner's monologue. The chapter seems so short.

you're welcome. LOL actually the chapter is not short with 82 pages. Compared to many other LNs, DYD has less and longer chapters.

I think it'll be rather difficult to get the best of this first episodes, if you haven't read the end of LOL Heroes. Personally, I found it rather refreshing when I saw Ferris back to her antics after what happened in LOL Heroes' last volume.

But, either way, this reminded me why I thought Ryner was rather the hypocrite regarding Sion's situation. Sion may be a good guy deep down inside, but that doesn't change all the shit he's done. Saying he's just been "shouldering a heavy burden alone" doesn't really change anything. It's rather funny Ryner called Sui and Kuu on this same deal, yet he used to to somehow justify Sion.

Okei Iv bin reading alot of spoilers recently and since Iv neither read the manga, and there have bin 4 diffrent light novels. So which one isint that the anime follows? or is the anime just drifting and drifting further and further from the light novel.

Iv read the first chapter of the manga and I have to say that it did not start remotely like the anime. So I can assume that its not following the manga.

And another question, iv also read that Ryner looses his Alpha stigma, but it turns out if im not correct that the Alpha stigma was more like blocking his true powers so when he looses the Alpha stigma, he becomes alot more powerful? Am I reading it wrong or is it about 50/50 accurate?

You also mentioned something about Ferris at the end of the Light novel. What happens, I would really like to know since the chances of me reading the light novel is about 0.0001%.

But still my curiosity always manages to overwhelm me :P

As a breather and as a teaser, I bring you the heart-wrenching BG story of Ferris Eris at B-T. It's denyuden vol 6 prologue. This is also a good chance for those who don't really read, or rather, had not yet read any of the LN, to make comparisons with the anime, which I presume will cover the same material tonight. While anime is good for action IMHO, there are so many things in the LN that can never be expressed adequately through the anime.

The parts I'm waiting the most for are Ryner meeting Lucile at the Eris' House. Then, Ryner getting "killed" by... uhh... I don't remember his name, and then Sion staring the formal execution of his plans.

Let's talk about eyes. Once again~ all translations are not 100% accurate so feel free to point them out~.

Copy Eye (Alpha Stigma)
複写眼（アルファ・スティグマ）

When activated, a red pentagon will appear in the pupil. Can read all types of magic or magic that is in preparation within the user's peripheral vision. Even magic from other country can be comprehended and freely used after seeing it once. The eye awakens around 5 or 6 years old. User’s mind will receive traumatic stimuli and become berserk, destroying everything. Because of such, all eye bearers are identified to be monsters of mass destruction; thus, the law of the kingdom states all children with such eye once discovered must be sent to the military. Normally, once the user become berserk, they cannot recover, except if a third party member induce unconsciousness during the moments when instability first occurs before completely berserking takes place. Even such, this situation is super rare, specifically only twice. Ryner is the only one that can recover from berserking with his own power. His berserking is also different from other Alpha Stigma bearer in that you only need to close his eyes to stop his berserking. Normally Alpha Stigma cannot be destroyed or gouged out, but will crystallize during berserking, which can then be harvested. The Alpha Stigma bearers cannot recover after berserking is become they are mere copies of “Solver of All Equation”’s ability.

The 4th strongest of all eyes.

Annihilation Eye (Ino Dwoee)
殲滅眼（イーノ・ドゥーエ）

When activated, a red cross will appear within the pupil, and absorb magical currents or faerielike creatures in this world to enter a superhuman state. Can directly eat magic, or human’s body to produce energy, or also directly consume faeries and receive energy as well, but the amount will be lesser. Because the pupil involuntarily absorb the faeries in space, the bearers cannot compose magic, and unable to use magic as a consequence. They receive orders/hear voices from heaven since they are fetuses to eat their mother from inside out give themselves birth.

Because of such, Ino Dwoee feels no guilt about eating humans. During Milan’s fight with Lir, Lir made use of the crystal harvested from this type of eye, the blue fire produced from which will destroy everything within its reaches.

PS: I didn't watch the episode where Ryner teach Arua magic yet, so replace Faerie with whatever Ryner uses in the official translation

Dreaming Eye (Ebla Crypt)
夢置眼（エブラ・クリプト）

When activated, two red dots will appear in the pupil, can read other people’s dream when user is sleeping. The further the target, the blurrier the dream gets. The bearer of this eye use this ability to gather all the other types of eye bearers.

The 3rd strongest eye.

Future Eye (Torch Curse)
未来眼（トーチ・カース）

When activated, the image of a red bird that is about to take flight will appear in the pupil, gives ability to see the future. The future, however, is not always the image the bearer wants to see. Using this ability will stun growth. The more activation, the more eye and hair of the bearer turn purple, and finally vision is lost. The bearer’s lifespan will also be reduced as a result.

The leader of God’s Eye Group is a Future Eye bearer.

The weakest of all eyes.

Grudge Eye (Wilno Heim)
怨嗟眼（ウィルノ・ヘイム）

Details unclear (has not appear in the story thus far). Eye awakens two months after birth.

The 2nd strongest eye.

PS: Not sure if grudge is the 100% correct word to use here.

As for the 2nd part~

Spoiler for Tia and Claugh:

Tia ate part of Claugh's arm when he was little (for what I don't know, though I don't think there's any special story here other than Claugh was at the wrong place at the wrong time). Then Tia saw Claugh again while searching for Ryner and this time he ate Claugh's entire arm in combat because Claugh was trying to kill him (Tia was ravaging a village). Tia actually doesn't like to eat humans because he considers them inferior beings.
