Posting the contents or tables of contents of our publications.

Posting plot summaries or derivative stories and similar based on our publications.

Posting pictures or photographs, in whole or in part, of our characters.

Posting your own pictures (illustrations or parodies, etc.) of our characters.

I can't begin to understand the possible motivation for this kind of move .

Alienating your readership is now good business policy.

It is called business focus to aim directly at your "undead fans", but it is shortsighted policy to do so because it is going to make it more difficult to diversify the business in the future. Sure there are cost savings now due to the clampdown on piracy, but that amount is hardly enough to cover for future advertising, market research and partnership agreements in order to widen income sources.

The idea behind market segmentation is "divide and conquer", not "banzai charge". Sun Tzu would have rolled over in his grave if any of those managers applied his Art of War to this business strategy.

Be careful with statistics. This one would include old womens' breasts, so cup size increased by gravity.

It says size not mass/weight. So I THINK we can be relieved about the statistics......

Average of D cup? Yeah, I don't think so... Unless super obese women somehow skew the average extremely far but even that I have trouble believing.

'Yu-Gi-Oh!' Creator Terminates U.S. Deal and Sues for Millions of Dollars

As if 4kids wasn't hated enough, now they're being sued for millions of dollars for defrauding the japanese owners and conspiring with other companies to help with the hiding the fraud [Funimation, and CN].

Hopefully this will result in 4kids not getting many new licenses in the future, I'd much rather see some other company than them pick up a series.

mmmmmm, granted I don't trust the source.... but it might be they hired themselves a "Murican Lawyer" who is trying to assert the kind of nonsense in copyrights that the US keeps trying to export to the rest of the world. It reads like a copy/paste from US "entertainment gatekeeper" assertions (RIAA, MPAA, Disney, etc).

Doujinshi is an age-old partner in the japanese manga art form... many of the *official* artists do doujinshi on the side. That's quite a entrenched status quo to try and blow up.

Obese man found fused to chair
Quote:
Bellaire, Ohio (March 30, Wed): An obese man had to be cut from a chair he had been sitting in for two years after his body became fused to it, local media reported.

Police told WTRF news that the Ohio man's skin had become fused to the seat of the chair, which was covered in urine, faeces and maggots.

The man's girlfriend brought him food for two years as he sat in his own waste in the filthy apartment they shared with another man, police said. They called for help on Sunday morning when he was unresponsive and had to cut a hole in the house to get him out of the building so they could get him to the hospital.

The smell was unbearable and one officer told the station that he threw away his uniform after it was sullied while cutting the man out of the chair.

THE SUNDAY MORNING HERALD
Two things. Firstly, I'm reminded of the Se7en's portrayal of gluttony.

Second thing, wait, the guy has a girlfriend?

He's not a guy anymore. He's a Guy-Chair hybrid.

Damn, I was about to post this. Yeah, I agree with you, better be a guy without a girlfriend, than to have a girlfriend but living like that . Seriously, that is sick, although the girlfriend is partly at fault too for enabling such behavior. I think he's still alive, although I heard that he needs to be moved to a hospital, for obvious reasons...

That's just unreasonably disgusting. How can you live like that.. ughh. And like you guys have said, it's weird how he has a girlfriend... but something I've noticed watching TV about super obese people trying to lose weight (like, I'm talking 400-500+ pounds here) they always seem to have a boyfriend/girlfriend/spouse. Perhaps it's a fetish? Not to say obese people should be overlooked, some are probably great people that deserve loving but you'd think with how shallow people can be that they'd be perpetually single.
