Back to working on Shadow: Think I should have it so that all pilot suits upgrade performance?

Well it should, the suits were made so that nerve signals could be exchanged better between the pilot and the IS. IE it makes the signals in the pilot's nervous system be read more easily by the IS than with normal clothes. The only alternative is to make it conductive or go naked >.>

Then why does it look like a swimsuit? Wouldn't a fullbody suit work better?

My guess is that they have yet to make it fully conductive and they only succeed in making the cloth less insulative to nerve signals. So bare as much as possible because skin contact still makes for the best neural transmission medium.

At least that's how I rationalize stripperific fanservice design.

Um what I mean is that the design shows more skin because the current tech for the suit makes it so suit has less responsiveness than when it's skin contact. So the less suit the better hence bathing suit design.

the thought of heirarchy of responsiveness goes like this.

normal clothes<piloting suit<bare skin.

Can't really say without knowing the means by which the core generates its energy.

However I only assume that the core itself does not explode when destroyed.

Lyon becomes an outlaw charged with hijacking an IS... despite being male. Other than that he's a normal kid. In relation to the CCs, they're the one tasked with tracking him and taking him down.
