I can't say I'm particularly amazed by recent developments but then generally speaking I've always found the beginning of arc fairly lacklustre in HxH so I guess this is nothing new. Alluka was introduced far too quickly for me to feel any emotion for her and her relationship with Killua, so my only interest in her lies as a mildly interesting device and that interest will quickly evaporate if her powers turn out to be nothing more than an elaborate ass pull.
On the election side, it is also interesting to see this "Game of Thrones" between Pariston and everyone else though I think the story is trying too hard to make me hate him when I don't really see much reason why. (EDIT: Oh wait, I forgot about the missing hunters bit) On the bright side of things, it looks like Leorio is back next episode. XP

While I personally dislike bringing this sort of topic up, this is quite a transphobic comment.
Facts: Killua calls her a little sister, everyone else calls her a little brother or "young (male) master" or whatever. Killua also happens to be the closest person to her that she loves most. Anything else is speculation, but based on the Killua precedent I think it's most respectful to call her female. |

I think Alluka may not be that interesting of a character but the main thing is to give more insight to Killua's character. He's capable of that incredible love for his sister... brother... errr whatever, and he has just as much care towards Gon. And that's what will allow him to do stuff others can't.
And that last scene was amazing. Manly tears, duh. I also love how Hisoka is just watching a cool story unfold. As well as Killua's mom being impressed with the death threat from her own son. Oh people die horribly. Whatever. That doesn't turn me on unless I'm involved. Creating happiness for others is what we leave behind. On the other hand, why do these episodes look so damned good?

From all the watching of HxH universe, it really is a dangerous place to live as a human, especially normal civillian, with nen criminal, monster (ant, and etcetera), alluka (it is implied it is something else literally)...

That exchange between Hisoka and Illumi was wonderful. Hisoka commenting that he knows he's got problems but Illumi is just as bad (if not worse) was hilarious. And poor Hisoka doesn't look to happy about possibly dying by association.
Killuamay have shown us something interesting this episode. Perhaps the answers or actions to Alluka's requests don't always have to be literal. I wonder if that's something that will comeinto play later. Also, I wonder if Killua will have Leorio make ask the wish. His reappearance now would be perfect timing as it were. |

Maybe for Killua, Alluka's ability is a super lethal weapon. He's not going to use it for anything except his beloved Gon. Last edited by revive4563; 2014-07-26 at 11:23. |

Maybe Alluka's situation is similar to Ranma 1/2 (probably the body changes as well in this case the face only) Alluka is really a girl, then the other personality is a boy.
I was thinking that Killua made the 1st wish on the other personality by making Alluka a girl. |

Seeing Leorio's punch in all its animated glory was oh so satisfying.

Yeah, exactly. After all, if the wish magnitude exceeds a certain value, the death count might as well go up to a few billions - namely, a wish might cause the extinction of mankind as a whole. Not a risk you want to take.
