Nnoitra's is the biggest stretch I'd say .. don't think Aizen ever hated himself or was a death-seeker, but he did have plenty of despair at the end of Deicide I guess

I can see Aizen being self-loathing, since he mentions how he's at the limit of being a shimigami when there's possibilities to be more. While being all calm, cool and collected, he can still hate the fact at his current state, he's at his maximum potential, then along comes deux ex machina...
