Negi is "so invested" in 5toubun that he tweeted that he drew the last volume cover in a hotel just after he got invited and participated in a friend's wedding in Okinawa. And mind you, there will be alternate covers for the last volume for no real reason, which from what they have advertised are reused art, not even something new.

Guess I will wait for the potential thank you message at the end for Bokuben, or any side title for the next chapters to properly decide on the alternate endings. So far it's kind of like both parties are right or wrong depending on the context.

Why would you assume that Fumino may have a part in the upcoming 4 "ending"? She may get none

Author: I did say that there will be 5 endings but I never said that every girl will get into the 5 endings. One of the endings can be "loner ending".

I agree. In my opnion, if this were a VN, then Uruka would have been the default romantic route to get into (not counting the non romantic route): Childhood friend, admire each other for their hard works, etc... and thus, the first one that we see. And since Sensei is the hardest to get: Social stigmas, her family, she's the last route.

To me, this is like CLANNAD Another World: Tomoyo After but instead of one or two heroines getting the After, ALL of the does.

Eh for me, giving a few weeks to release the alternate routes would be like saying "Uruka's route is the canon one, so wait for the others" except the author intended for every route to be canon in their own way, thus why it continue.

Wait. This series is going the multiple ending route and all 5 endings are canon? Well shit, Idk how to feel about that.

I'm the kinda guy that rides or dies with his ship. I went with Fumino because I always thought that while sensei was the undisputed best girl, I didn't think she'd actually have a shot at winning. Now I find out that I can choose which ending I want... This conflicts me.

I won't delude myself tho, while it is true that the multiple ending route is confirmed canon by the man himself, we all know that Uruka was originally the intended winner. I'm not mad tho, I would've been surprisingly fine with the Uruka win tbh. Had someone ask me this question last year, my answer would've been much different. I guess Go-Toubun's downward spiral changed my outlook on Uruka.

If anything, the Uruka shippers should be the ones upset over this since it severely cheapens any feelings of satisfaction they would've experienced.
