Premise/Plot

The anime is set in Baylong City, an artificial island city established in the Pacific Ocean to exploit local natural resources. The anime centers on three characters. The first is Shū, who runs a small company, though his spending habits have left him constantly penniless. A girl named Kisara frequents Shū's office and is constantly worried for him. Kisara attends a high school in Baylong City, and does everything from clerical work to household chores with confidence. Meanwhile, Ayano is Shū's ex-girlfriend and former work colleague in a company that Shū used to work for.

Welcome to Bayron city! Home to our protagonist Shu, voiced with the usual amount of sass and confidence you would expect from a Souma Saito character, as he tries to make a living for himself while being practically penniless and lacking in prospects. But at least he's in business for himself .

And not only that he's stuck between two women, the beautiful mature beauty Ayano voiced by Lynn whom he has a history with since they used to work at the same company and just can't seem to help herself from taking care of him, and Kisara, a seemingly normal schoolgirl who seems hopelessly devoted to Shu (to pretty much yandere levels) who cooks for him and even chips in her own savings to help pay his bills. It's nice being a freeloader relying on two cute girls .

Of course even Kisara has her limits as when she finds out how much Shu has wasted their money she sulks naked in his bed (lucky dog) and plants to commit suicide with him. She even posts it on social media and makes it into a big romantic thing between the two of them. Will we get to meet her one follower ?

But this isn't just a romcom love triangle, in this city there's the threat of demons possessing people and going on a rampage and various companies taking contracts to effectively take care of them, and Shu's ready to make a name for himself in this business with his new solo company .

Seems like there's something about Shu's dad and his reputation that reflects on Shu? It also seems like Shu had a sister .

So Shu is still working with his former boss, and Ayano's mother, which also means he's still working with Ayano. And despite her protestations to the contrary, it's pretty clear that she can't get Shu off her mind and her mom is definitely aware of it, though I'm not sure how much she might ship the two together .

Ayano is a clear example of why you should never underestimate a woman in a skintight soldier outfit with a gun. Also I love that sequence of her reaching for her pistol that showed off her butt .

Ayano's great for backup and support with her team, but the real spotlight shines on Kisara who turns out to be a high-grade demon contracted with Shu to help take care of other demons. And their "ritual" for the contract is a passionate make out session, although Kisara wants some bed action as well .

I had a feeling Kisara and Ayano didn't care for each other, but I wasn't expecting them to actually straight up try to kill each other while also killing some demon dogs as collateral damage. We've got your classic bickering love rivals here .

What was Kisara doing with that demon's face? Was she absobring it's memories so they can find out how the guy became a demon and track down who is doing this? Also how much of Kisara's identity the demon and how much of it is Kisara herself ?

Finished watching it today and heh, it really looks like Kisara really has some weird love towards Shu. Unfortunately, the protagonist has a rather dull personality unless the show develops him more.

Ayano also seems like the type who can get irritated easily. Definitely got mixed thoughts on the three main leads at the moment.

Without Kisara this could be pretty entertaining show. Well, hopefully it will be at least watchable.

Given the author I'm not sure if I'd expect much.

I wasn't sure what to expect but its kind of interesting anyway. I'll give it a couple more episodes at least.

Kisara is like the only reason to watch this show so far. That and it has good animation. I also like that the MC is an adult with romantic experience rather than another virgin high schooler.

.. yeah this (in my opinion) was boring, the main dude is apparently just scum but not in the fun way, the pink haired girl is the annoying clingy type and the whole plot just feels like a Raildex fan fiction writer read Strike the Blood because it felt like a Raildex fanfiction and said: "I can do it too."

I'll just stick to Raildex series, those that like it, I hope you enjoy it.

The animation is fine, but the setting has been there, done that. But the main characters were a problem. The guy is the lazy but powerful type, and the girl is the crazy lover. And neither were portrayed in a way that made them likeable.
Great you got a budget for the original anime, but unfortunately, scriptwriting is one of the things that simply pouring money can't solve. Frankly, it's on the same level as Hand Shakers, just more sexual

I thought the episode was okay. Kinda agree that the MC has a trash personality; using the girl and woman like he does, but I'm sure there is a reason they are so attached to him(I hope). Not sure I'll make it to that reason at this pace, but we'll see .

Fighting looked cool, but seemed like some stupid things were happening. I think they delved a bit too far into the comedic aspect during the fight for my tastes. Then there are other stupid(or at least what appears to be stupid) concepts like not using the super bullet first(unless its an Outlaw Star Gene Starwind Caster gun situation), and depriving your powerful right-hand girl energy for 3 months when all she needs is kiss or some... whatever(plasma/blood or other energy she sucked out of him). If you have her, why spend practically all of the money you'll earn for the job on support when you can use the girl for free? Just to establish the little catgirl rivalry between (*goes to look up names) Ayano and Kisara? It's dumb to me, as that could have been established at a less serious time, that doesn't make the MC look like an incompetent useless buffoon, but whatever. I'll give it a few more eps at least since the core drive of the plot has yet to be established, but given the little flash to his family portrait, and mentions of his father, it probably has something to do with how his father, or maybe his whole family "mysteriously disappeared" or something.

That whole scene where it was not clear if they are killing mobs or try to kill each other was pretty hilarious. I don'y get the RailDex comparison at all (and let's be frank, Komachi is your typcal geeky graphomaniac who just got his popularity). I think way better of Maruto Fumiaki as a writer but the ep. 1 was way to confusing. I am not sure what to expect based on it.

When the fight started I was "nice, so the protagonist is actually competent", then Kisara appeared and I went "wait, so he's here only to give her the boost and then watch her save the day". In the end he went back to be competent and dealt the final blow to the demon, so I feel a bit reassured.
It's too soon to give a judgement but battle fantasy with ecchi is a genre that I usually like so I'll keep watching for now.
